Seriously OTT restaurant. The prices are very high and the portions are small. The quality and taste is outstanding however, and you can't fault the service, but really it's not even remotely value for money. Been here twice but probably won't bother with it again.

Great little business very centrally located. Designed with a 50's/60's American feel that I normally hate but concede that it works here. Excellent donuts and hot dogs, with American "soda pop" cans on sale as well. Well worth a look (and a taste. The donuts are especially nice),

If you are into coins and banknotes then Downies is the place for you. They are centrally and conveniently located and offer excellent service. I've been there lately to find out about how to go about getting my grandfathers war medals restored and mounted and they couldnt be more helpful.

Excellent little shop if you like puzzles and games. They have an excellent selection (particularly of puzzles. Its a wonder they didnt call it the Puzzle shop to be honest). Some nice gift ideas as well, including some very lovely chess sets if that is your thing. Service is good - they are very nice in there.

This shop is pretty cool. I love how they make he lollies right in front of you. It's a small store but it's got a good range. They used to have a stall in the middle of the mall as well, which made it easier to buy lollies when the shop is full, but I haven't seen it there for a while. very colourful, very yummy!

A great fruit and vege shop with excellent produce at excellent prices. Staff are very friendly and don't mind a chat. You could do a lot worse than go here. Much better than any of the big chain supermarkets.

An interesting tavern. Not easy to find because it's underground but once you do it's very comfy with a good atmosphere. I've never eaten here (other than a frothy chop!) but I've seen the meals and they look pretty decent. Good location as well, but don't expect any views :-)

A good fish and chippery. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is tasty but not the best in the area. Good range on offer and the prices are good.

Great butcher. Lots of staff and a good range of cuts and meats. Good service. Bit pricey but I'd rather get my meat from here than a Coles.

Perfectly serviceable Indian restaurant. Food isn't anything special but it's not bad. The restaurant itself is pretty ordinary as well but the service is good. Recommend it if you need to grab something to eat and want Indian and happen to be within walking distance. Otherwise try Raga in Williamstown.
