Held a birthday party here and was pretty impressed. The kids had a great time with all the games on offer (and there's HEAPS on offer). Staff were friendly enough but certainly didn't bowl me over with their enthusiasm. Plenty of party food available like party pies, nuggets etc. Great fun for kids of all ages!
My family and I have been using this medical centre since moving to Melbourne 8 years ago and we consider ourselves very fortunate to find it. The staff and doctors are all professional and friendly, and will go out of their way to see you if its urgent. Yes you'll have the same problem here as any other medical centre with regards to appointment time vs when you are actually seen by the doctors, but all up its nothing but positives at Challis Street. Couldnt be happier with the service and attention to detail, which when you are dealing with health related issues is kind of important!
A very trendy place to visit. I would recommend getting there early to avoid queueing, however of course if its too early you dont get the buzz of being in a busy place. At least you get served quicker though! Very stylish bar - can easily see why its popular. Drinks are expensive, but I guess you arent just buying the drinks, you're buying the experience as well.
Had a few drinks and meals in the Brewhouse and have always been happy with the quality and the service. James Squire beers are always outstanding so its great to have a big range of them on tap. Good pool area up the back as well.
Great different food, but not cheap. The sharing platters (can't remember their name, think its called Suffrah or something like that) are definitely the way to go. Have tried both a la carte and shared, and shared was by far and away the best option, as it really turns dinner into something different - more of an event. The service was also good.
If your kids are old enough to ride scooters, skateboards or BMX's down a ramp then they are going to love Rampfest. My kids ride scooters and keep hassling me to go back here. The set up is very good - the ramps are all made from wood and from what I can tell appear to be very well constructed. There are foam pits that the kids can do tricks into and land safely, and there is also a canteen that serves cold drinks and warm food (hot dogs and the like), as well as a seating area for parents. Its a clever set up, really only applicable to a niche market but well worth the visit if your kids (or you) are into this thing.

I haven't eaten in the restaurant but have frequented the downstairs lounge/bar quite a bit and it's a very cool place, though it's not particularly cheap. Good atmosphere and plenty of comfy seats to park yourself on.
Not a big fan of La Porchetta but somehow end up there every now and then. I guess the best thing you could say is that it's inexpensive, and you know what you're getting. It's a gorgeous location though, which sets this one apart from the others I guess.
Decent fish and chips at good prices. Service is also ok. Not the best fish and chips in the west but still pretty damn good
Great little bakery that does the basics really well, as well as some very tasty middle eastern treats. Bit on the exxy side but well worth the cost.
