I love this place, and judging by the amount of people who line up for food here so do a lot of other people too. Its not a sit down cafe - its really just a patisserie that bakes all its own bread and croissants on site every day and they are very tasty. The fillings in their rolls are very generous for the prices they charge (which are EXTREMELY competitive), and the service is pretty darn good too.
Outstanding Indian vegetarian meals on offer. The menu changes daily and its basically all you can eat. Best vegetarian dining in the city, guaranteed, and at the best price as well! Fully recommend visiting for a delicious feed!

Great pub with good beers on tap (including boutique beers), and an excellent little restaurant as well. The meals are fantastic, with large servings at very competitive prices, and they also have a cute little beer garden.
Merely serviceable pub. It's an ok place for a beer, and the location is brilliant, but there are a heap of other pubs in Williamstown with better character and better service and better pub food on offer. It's not that it's bad, it's just that compared to what else is around its not great.
Wow this store is seriously cool. I went in for a look and came out with some of the funkiest stuff around. Its a very eclectic range that they stock - from greeting cards to artwork to coffee cups to notebooks...I really thought it would just be a stationary store but its so much more than that. I was seriously impressed with the range and the prices were VERY reasonable I thought. Staff were friendly and professional. A great find.
I went in here looking for a particular monthly magazine (a nerd one), and whilst I was quite prepared to spend slightly more than the usual $11.95 that I normally pay for it was shocked to see that instead they were wanting to charge me over $23 for it. This for a magazine that was a couple of months old! I cant vouch for all the other mags that they have there - and to be fair they have so many that it does your head in - but I will probably save myself the effort and not shop there again. Staff were friendly but mostly unhelpful as well when I asked where I could find this particular magazine.
Cute little shop with interesting gift ideas. Not a lot there for blokes, but if you are looking for a gift for the woman in your life you could do a lot worse than give this a go. There are books and cooking/kitchenware type stuff, as well as little gift knick knacky type stuff as well.
This neat little store is a little slice of nerd heaven, and stocks books (at standard bookstore prices), t-shirts that geeks will love (I particularly liked the "Keep Calm and Fight Zombies" one), some DVD's and soft toys, and collectables from movies, TV shows etc. They also sell fake weapons made of some kind of foam, which are very cool but also very expensive. Its like Minotaur's little brother, but the service outshines anything that Minotaur can offer. The staff are very friendly and are happy to just have a chat with you.
The Overdraft cafe is a staple for a lot of office workers in Flinders Lane. Its got the usual chips, potato cakes, Sth Melbourne Dim Sums etc but its also got other things such as Lasagne, homemade beef and burgundy pies etc, and its all damn tasty. Service is top-notch. There's lots of staff and they are all friendly and efficient. Coffee is good and there is outdoor seating as well.
Great little store in the city full of interesting and unique gift ideas. Lots of unusual books and gift cards and art and some cool and different toys/activities for kids inlcuding things like cardboard planes that they can make and then fly around in. They have huge maps for sale as well, though they are expensive. Service is pretty good as well.
