Used to love flying with this airline,but there service and prices seem to be getting worse,so now I fly jetstar or even virgin..it seems like you pay for that free meal in the long run!hope they lift their game as I would go back to flying with them
Stayed here one night while looking for other accommodation,it was all good,basic but clean,comfortable,and staff were nice.motel was pretty quiet and close to everything,breakfast was quite good.price was satisfactory..all up,good motel,not bad not fab either.
Was really hesitant to write this review as I know WOMO doesn't really like personal attacks,negative comments etc,BUT that's sorta the main gist of this place.its an ex motel,yes EX so I shouldn't of been surprised rooms weren't like a proper motel,they're like a cheap backpackers instead...the staff were so rude to me I felt like leaving,and wish I had..when I got to our room,the pillows were filthy,as was bed,mattress was thin and smelly,room was filthy..I was so tired I nearly cried,but stayed anyway..the residents are mostly long term,they act like they own the place and it was extremely intimidating,there was lots of noise and music partying etc..the only good thing was the pool on top of the roof,BUT that was filthy and needed a clean.please read trip advisor before straying here,as I didn't like I usually do,and regretted it,I stayed one night instead of the week we planned.rooms ARE only $55 double,but I will spend the extra next time,and NEVER stay there again or recommend it to people,especially single women!

Stayed here for 5days holiday on the way home to mackay,and would of loved to stay more!the motel is the only high rise motel on the strand,it's huge.theres it's of parking out front and in back.as you walk into huge foyer,it's lovely clean and bright,and the staff all week were lovely to us,particularly the night concierge.the rooms for the price were extremely good,a great comfy bed(which is a huge plus for me)aircon was icy cold,view is a million dollar view,showers were hot and lots of water.one of the best things is the view as mentioned,you can see nearly all the way to magnetic island,the rooms overlook the beautiful ocean.its a quick walk down the strand to the kids water centre,to motels and restaurants and to city heart.will stay here again for sure!

Excellent service station with huge selection of drinks snacks even kids toys.shop is clean,toilets are clean too and easy to access,staff are friendly and efficient.just what a servo should be like,excellent all round!
Always get fantastic juices from Boost,the cairns shop was no exception,fresh juice,lovely staff..my only complaint ever is the cost,but you can get a loyalty card which entitles you to a free drink every tenth you buy,plus you get a free drink on your bday,so that helps with the cost a teeny bit.it is worth the money though,and I always b the kids drink with the cute little cup for them :)

Went here to grab couple kilos prawns for BBQ at my brothers when we were in cairns,and partner grabbed chips while we were there.the chips were ok,as they'd just been made,but the prawns,@ $26 a kg,were only Endevour prawns,they were black in the head and shells were loose..eg not fresh at all.the young guy said he"d charged us a little less as "there's was heaps of water in them"umm thanks mate but not very encouraging,as prawns aren't meant to have heaps a water in them!admittedly it was at night,so probably been sitting there all day.also we only went there the once..they're open 7 days a week,when we go back to Cairns I will try them again,and hopefully they're better.
Can't say enough how great the fish and chips here are,we had a few try's At a few places,but this was one of the best!serves were huge,fish was fresh,chips were cooked perfectly.went back 3 times,and only changed the type of fish,and all times it was great!can see why locals and backpackers love it,great food and cheaper then you"d expect!
Right on the esplanade in cairns and you can sit down at the tables and eat,the shop is clean and the staff are friendly and make the best kebab in minutes for you!the kebabs were excellent,fresh salads and soft juicy meat,they were almost too full!the tambourine was delicious as was the hummus,and prices were great,cheaper then most!will try again!

I love this site,I use it whenever I'm looking for a place to rent,commercial or private.my ex and I also bought our house after finding it on the site.very informative,they have lots of pictures,and the real estates details,plus you can apply for the property online!so helpful,you can apply for properties all at same time instead of going to different real estate buildings!you can also customise the search engine to your price preference,rooms pets etc,very handy.i recommend it to anyone I know looking to buy,sell or rent property!
