Used this company in cairns last fortnight looking for a house,so dealt with them for a few days.Veronica the agent we looked at houses with was very nice,knew what she was doing,and happy. Help.the reception was a lovely young women who's leaving to the mines soon,I hope the company gets another receptionist as good as her,she really was helpful.a great real estate that I"d be happy to rent through if I needed to.
Have just leased a house through this agent Chris Dunham,and so far he's been excellent.he approved the house for us,contacted us immediately after he approved it,stayed in touch constantly and is extremely understanding and patient.a smaller business,but maybe that's why they're so good,as they're more personal then some of the bigger places.worth going through if you need a real estate agent!
My favourite shop lol,they make traditional hard rock candy,with flavours such as chilli and lime(surprisingly good!)to traditional like pineapple etc.they also make Dutch licorice(not my thing but) and can custom make candy,for your wedding etc.a great idea.prices were what you"d expect,and the candy itself was wonderful.we bought a bag of mixed and also a bag of mango.also they do demonstrations which you literally have to see,if you've never seen candy made,you have to its fantastic!

Stopped in for lunch after getting off sky rail and had a fantastic meal,I had basic steak and salad,the salad was fresh with beautiful dressing,partner had big piece of fish with chips and the bite. Had it was crisp outside,moist inside and delicious.the cost was pub price,which is always good,and the staff were lovely too.will go back if I'm in Kuranda again!
We got the train on way down to cairns,after going up on the sky rail,and I wish I had of gone back on the sky rail.the train was hot and poky and slow,it was extremely packed as it was school holidays as well as many tourists,as can be expected in cairns.the view is nice,but you can't see as much as you"d like,and only stop to take pics the once.no food on board either,so make sure you eat before you go,as we did in Miranda itself.a good trip all n all,but I wouldn't go again.
So glad we went on this on our cairns trip,it was so much fun and so interesting to see the rainforest and towns fom up her!you can literally see everything!im scared of heights so was a little reluctant,but the cabs are extremely secure and you forget to be scared!we went up then got the old fashioned train back,you can buy one way or return tickets,price is bit much,but it is a tourist tour :)

A disappointing experience,particularly for my rather who is a foreigner and didnt know much of aboriginal culture and was hoping to learn a bit about it.the show promised alot,but delivered little,and for $99 each it was a huge disappointment.they had spear and boomerang throwing and dancing,but the few "entertainers"were extremely bored and unenthusiastic,it was really dreary.the food was buffet style,I wish they had traditional food to at least try,it would of been great.shop is filled with heaps of cheap,Chinese made souvenirs at double the cost in town..please save your money,as this place doesn't represent aboriginal culture well or accurately at all!

Greg and monique run an amazing business,this was one of the most fun,worthwhile things my partner and I have done in ages!im used to dirt bikes,but my partner isn't,and the rider Nigel helped out and was so patient and lovely.the trip can be from 1-8 days(we only did 1 day but will go back for a longer one next time)the bikes and all riding gear are included,and you explore outback in a way most people wouldn't.definately worth checking out,even if its not something you"d usually do!
If you haven't seen crocs up close before,or at all,this park is excellent,you get right up next to the crocs,it's so exciting!they feed them in front of you and all!my partner was thrilled as he's foreign and hadn't seen crocs and snakes too.the tour guides know what they're doing and are friendly,as are all the staff.food was a bit costly,if I took my kids I"d pack a picnic lunch as others had.a great experience,well worth the admission price!
Excellent,professional crew looked after us,really helped me as it was my first time out I was a bit nervous and scared but they were extremely patient and kind.boat was big and clean,the lunch provided was nice,not the huge buffet they said but still nice enough.the equipment was all good,apparently there was new management and they'd bought all new stuff,lucky for us :) all up a great trip out to the reef with a great crew!
