A friend took me here a couple of weeks ago,i had an urge for fish lol . Huge place,easy to find in the marketplace. Look for the big blue and white sign on the awning.
Well the menu is extensive. So much to choose. I got a seafood basket and 2 handmade potato scallops,you have a choice of precessed or home made.well we waited a while for our order about 20 min ,not quite sure why as we were the only ones there. Was worth the wait tho, cooked beautifully and so much for $9.90 . 2 small pieces of fish, lots of chips.lovely prawns and and calamari hand, thick calamari and cooked lovingly and perfectly. The potato scallops are to die for! Not greasy rather thick and thin batter with a nice seasoned salt. I was very impressed. They have lots or different dishes and burger deals.you can dine in or take away. Plenty of parking . Seats inside to wait. Lovley carved benches. Also a bulk buy freezer all along the back wall. With lots of yummy things to take home, corn jacks,dim sims, chicken and bacon schnitzels etc, pre packaged. Fresh fish available also. Drinks ,really have a good set up. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

Great little place hidden around the corner form the main drag of trent shops in the main st. Try heading around the corner and you will find this small shop. Nice and clean, friendly lady served us. The menu is extensive. We got a seafood basket for $10 . The fish was a bit thin but it was nice,nothing was greasy and you could taste the actual food! Big piece of fish,chips,2 big prawn cutlets,lovely seafood stick and yes they can cook calamari perfectly! A big plus for me lol . Bought drinks and went down to a picnic table at the park near the beach.they do a lot of other foods, seafood, burgers etc. good value for money. Will go back again

well , my partner and i decided to try this place a couple of saturdays ago. always drove past and the place was packed so got us interested.
what can i say, we walked into the smallish shop,looked at the extensive menu board,noticed a seafood basket for one was an enourmous $28.90 and it included fish bites for goodness sake,not even a piece of fish .We wanted flake but they ran out ,it was 12.30 mind you. the fish was $9.90 a piece. so we had maihi maihi(thinks its spelt that way) but with chips it was 10.90 so we had the deal and an order of calamari and potato scallops. we were informed that they were changing the oil in the fryers so we had a 20 min wait seated outside. no crowd this afternoon and pretty quiet. place was clean, no one ever came to wipe down the outside tables which were dirty. the woman serving us just answered our q;s with short answers, wasnt very friendly at all.so we were given a pager and waited at our table. we were beeped and got our $40 order, potato scallops were way voer priced at $2......well the piece of fish was about 5 inches long and very crispy and tasteless and oily,very disappointing for $9.90 the chips were a sprinking ,i counted mine there were 14 thin thin thin cut chips,slightly bigger than mcdonalds fries! the calamari was tough and cut into small chunks and was oily,very unappetising to say the least. I never ate mine,chewed one chunk to death and turned me off the rest. potato scallops for the money were disgraceful, thin cut, small and oily.the fish and chips came in a small cardboard plate with sides on it and i mean small! so much for new oil.im still wondering if it was new oil. on this visit alone i really cant see why there is a crowd at this place in the past. if the cooking is anything like today then im baffled.feeding kids wasnt cheap either,3 nuggets and chips for $7.90. come on nuggets cost like 12c each and the chips would have been a handful. certainly getting money for the least food. we wont be going back again.....

now located in the wharf district this place is lovely for a break after a long drive. you walk in and its like an old fashioned lolly shop,mmm fudge ,you cant go by it. we usually spend a fortune on fudge lol . meals and shakes and ice creams are abundant. you can sit inside or go out the back where it looks like a western scene with the wooden table and benches. the service is good old fashioned chatting and food. i love the place. always a must for us. prices are good, store is lovely in an old fashioned bright setting... if your travelling thru make it a must to go find it, its on the corner in kent st .plenty of nearby parking too.its like stepping back in time and very comfy

great place to drop in on way home from work to collect bread . lunch times are hectic tho. always a fair few people in here for delicious breads and pastries. close to home so I would rather come here for uncut bread than go to any supermarket. its just a far superior taste with all the different rye breads and grains and rolls. prices are reasonable but you pay for quality. if you pass the place go in and try something

tucked away little shop in main street near the corner opp the servo. had pizza here wasnt anything special. small tables inside and some outside in like an alley on the side. that looks like the shop. they had some nice gelato tho. pizza was just ok not worth going back for another try. dry crust. the gelato was expensive and as clean and tidy as it was the service wasnt anything to rave about either. just got your order and no chit chat or anything. worth a try for once tho

small store front in the shopping centre near woolworths. always smells great when walking by. had huge hamburgers here,i really couldnt eat all mine so my partner ate the rest of mine. tasty, fresh salad, not limp stuff. the tables and chairs out on the footpath are usually taken up at the most busiest times of a sat morning. they have a wide range of foods, fish n chips, freshly made sandwiches, drinks. prices are value for money. have a try

bright clean and a wonderful eating experience.
love the way staff greet you coming and leaving,shows appreciation.plenty of seating,rather big store, but the food is delish. plates start at $3 upwards to $6 for the hot n spicy . wagyu sushi is very moist and light ,i tried it for the first time and loved it. i love dumplings, the prawn sushi and the crab stick ones. will frequent the place in future. not hard to find.the beige and brown colour tones make it warm and cosy inside. They do catering for parties as well.
Get your vip card and amount up your points for credit off meals or buying nic nacs with the brand mark. i got a nice pen on a lanyard once but usually use it to take costs off our meals.... go check it out its cheap fast and enjoyable
