Love this place its so huge! Situated in the shopping area near anaconda and harvey norman. I get lost in here and spend hours looking for craft bargains. Im a vip member and received a voucher for $40 off a new sewing machine. So went to see what was available. Found a great one on sale and i could also use my voucher with it .when i got to the register my bargain was even better. $199 machine for $99 score! Love browsing for craft supplies. My partner gets irritated waiting for over an hour for me so he goes and cleans the car or something lol. Aisles are wide, pram room. Things are fairly easy to find. Staff are always about to help. Only thing is I'm always in a long queue. So the wait to get material cut is always long about ten min or more. Checkouts are usually quicker. Sometimes there is a sausage sizzle out front on saturdays. I keep going back time and time again. Usually find what I'm looking for. Plenty of parking
Grabbed a quick lunch on my way home from work. Been walking past many times thinking to myself i want to try that place. Finally did it today. Little bar outside coles at old end of westfield. friendly girl served me,prices were cheaper than up the other end of centre. Clean, counter display looks fresh, they keep rotating the sushi, taking out the older and putting fresh ones in .not leaving a great amount in the cabinet to get old. I tried the sweet chilli chicken which was lovely. Nice piece of finger sized chicken in a golden crumb and was a very nice sweet sweet chilli sauce, not overpowering and nice taste. The other one i chose was a new one i hadn't seen before bbq pork. Was very moist rice, lovely bbq flavour of the pork, the seaweed wraps were a little chewy but not off putting. Prices were $2:50 each. They sell drinks also . Will certainly try some other flavours

I was taken to this out of the way place today for lunch. Situated on the side of a dead end rd next to the bridge on the water. Upon entering its very old ,laid back ,outside needs a coat of paint to brighten it up ,mustard isnt a very becoming colour. Inside the menu is varied but very expensive! 5 tempura prawns and plum sauce for $16 ! Cod $9 minimum chips $4 ,which is everyone else's $2:50. Some meals seemed nice from the ads on the front window, fish with prawns and a cream sauce. Anyway we ordered 2 cod, 2 potato scallops,2 seafood stick and minimum chips and a tub of tartare. The old guy wasn't friendly, just asked what id like, added it up gave me a number and said wont be long . So we took a seat outside next to fence by the river, apparently they own there own trawler, which is sitting at the jetty for you to see. So i like the idea of trawler to plate. Lovely seating with a view of the river. Our number is called. I go get our order. 2 plates, cutlery and a basket of food. The cod is crumbed very nice ,flakey fish.lemon, handful of lettuce, shredded carrot and beetroot for the salad in the basket. Very pricey for the amount of food. Fish is no bigger than normal. Chips minimal. The seafood sticks were battered which i don't like and were tasteless except for the batter.the potato scallops were small over cooked ,the batter was dark brown and crunchy,i dint know why these places cant get a simple potato scallop right! very thin potato inside. All up it was $32.90 .way overpriced in my opinion for not that crash hot food. The fish was the only nice part of it and i think we are paying for the view. The place was quiet ,just us a couple of kids and a family down on the jetty on the seat. There is an enormous amount of room there, inside or outside eating. Other than that i wouldn't go back as its far too expensive. Nice to try once but stick to a meal or the fish as the extras are over priced.the view was the best part
one of the fun places to go eat at night. even take the kids too. bright neon signed store at newmarket, cant miss it,old retro just like fonzie days. infront of all the other shops in this homemakers plaza.old fashioned american seating booths.milk shakes actually come in the old fashioned aluminimum cups straight from the kitchen lol my kids couldnt believe it the first time i took them ,they actually enjoyed it. menu options are varied , hot dogs , beaut burgers, to die for chips, sandwiches.very nostalgic settings . go have a look you wont be sorry.
they do breakfast lunch and dinner, kids snacks and so many different burgers the monster burger is oh so filling and even has beetroot! $9 they do pasta as well , lucky i live close lol

Nice cosy store but plenty of room to move around and browse. Had to buy larger sized nice tshirts. Its amazing how much more expensive normal t shirts are for bigger men in the 3xl+ range. Rather ridiculous i think. The older gentleman serving is very helpful looking for sizes for my man.nice range of polos,rm Williams t's slacks etc. pity the ones we really wanted ac/dc and a poker one weren't in the size we wanted. Ended up buying 4 nice t shirts, 2 rm williams for $60 each, just plain blue and black with the logo on the front left pocket position and the bull horns across the shoulder blade on the back, not a lot fir $60. 2 others cost $50 each. No consistency with sizes as rm were one size and the other 2 were bigger sizes but smaller than the first 2! Makes no sense. One small change room isn't convenient for large men. Other than the high prices ,its a good shop to find stuff for large men. Have been here a few times and always found something.

Friday nights pizza night,so we went to try this place after visiting the noodle store next door a few times in the past.
Its a takeaway pizza and pasta or sit and dine in byo. Lots of seats inside and out lots of space too.staff are friendly but tend to hover when your viewing the menu on the front counter. Lots of choices and also gluten free choices. We finally decided on a garlic bread pizza and they deliver for orders over $25. We ordered a pizza with tomato base, pineapple, lashings of bacon ,ham and onion. I can tell you we weren't disappointed when it said LASHINGS of toppings. Large pizza and the toppings were almost an inch thick. Good thin base that help up to the load of toppings it had to hold. Cheese was lovely ,stringy without being messy and the toppings weren't salty but lovely strong flavours . One thing though we couldn't taste the tomato base, that was one thing lacking in flavour. Other than that it was one of my top 4 pizzas I've ever had.the garlic bread pizza was a little unusual . It was cut into triangle slices but stacked on each other and wrapped in foil. I didn't like the taste of this .i found the base needed cooking more as i could still taste the flour and the garlic taste wasn't even subtle in the least. Was a nice thickness but lacked taste. A fair few people were waiting in front of us but we only waited about ten minutes for our order. They have a lack of choice for drinks ,just coke products and not a lot to choose from. The pizzas are from $16 .our particular one was 19 i think .they are open till late and parking is on the street. Or walk from the many motels and apartments close by. We will try their pizzas again and maybe the pastas. They have a huge range to try.over 30 pizzas and 15 pastas. A night out or takeaway its a delicious pizza
Approximate cost: $18
Great place for late night decent food in the city. Frequent here before a night out. I love the vegetarian spring rolls, tasty with spices but the $10 is a little high i think. The prawn rice paper rolls are also a favourite.for $20 i love the angus beef. It has so much flavour. Situated where cafe 21 used to be inside the casino. Well worth a visit. Staff are always attentive and charming. You can see the chefs in the kitchen cooking from most vantage points.
Approximate cost: $20
Early morning eateries after a late night isn't abundant in the valley. Pies, pizza, maccas. Ive tried NY pizza twice here. I find $7 for 1 slice of crusty pizza with no taste other than oily cheese a bit much.! the service isnt much throw it on a plate throw it at you. Only go here if you're desperate and nothing much else is open,i wont bother again
Approximate cost: $7
Another mens store i found a couple of great quality mens casual shirts for my son. Also found a lovely blue striped tie. The gentleman that helped us was friendly and knew what he was doing. Went looking for the right sizes and didn't try to make us buy more than we needed. A little pricey but was fine quality and just what we needed
Approximate cost: $97
I also was wanting to try see what this place was about in the valley. I win tickets to a show here also cant remember what show tho as was 18 mths ago. We did buy drinks tho spirits and soft drinks. Parking is $12, down the back of the street in the parking station. Decor inside is lovely, not bright but can be very alluring.the theatre was bigger than i expected tho. Make a night of it,across the rd and the opp corner are some great eating places. The centre is well established, close to transport and well worth the night out
