can never leave this place with less than $50 spent lol did some stocking filler shopping saturday, shop was a little more packed being xmas time and people having same idea as myself.the aisles are wide ,everythings easy to find, xmas stuff is at front of store all in same place so easy to find things.love the new tissue wrapping paper for $1! quite a few sheets and big, looks and feels more like plastic than paper.love nic nacs myself ,cant help it . left with $61 worth ! not unusual for me at any time of the year lol

not too impressed with this store or its service sometimes. vacuum cleaner left on floor in walk way to counter at back of shop isn't a good idea for customers to trip over!
\asked the girl if they had larger dressing pads ,as we always get them there the last few weeks, she said she would go ask, we never saw her again after waiting over 5 min for her return, found her in next aisle helping someone else. so we went down the back to ask again. purchased different size to last a week after all that.they need to upgrade there customer service. 4 staff standing around and we had to ask for help

this little corner store in the new shopping centre at brightwater, though other shops say its mountain creek. find aldi there and its around the left side of it. great little nick nack shop that i got a few xmas stocking fillers from.the aisles are a little cramped but then it is in the corner of the centre, but not too bad if not crowded.the girls were very friendly at the register on saturday afternoon. lots of unusual stuff there and some collectors stuff in figurines. toys, glassware, nick nacks. good little stocked shop. will go back for another look after xmas. more shops are soon to open in this centre, rather impressed so far

this place has only just opened so no phone number I can find yet. visited sunday on a recommendation from partners work friend. well worth the visit. bit tricky to find because you would never know these shops existed down the back out of the way from the main rd. but look for it and its worth it, traditional english style fish n chip shop. bright , blue decor, big menu board easy to read, a couple of seats outside and a few benches inside to sit and eat. help your self to cutlery etc, love the fact they have actual vinegar bottles on the tables.we got mini cod $8 n chips,2 drinks , 4 potato scallop (decent price of $1.20 each).a few weird things on the menu likepea fritter and low and behold black pudding and white pudding battered, haggis(all yuk to me lol) steak and kidney pudding, pies,.partner got onion rings, not my thing, but they were quite large. the batter is old fashioned crispy batter like when we were kids. lovely. small chips actually come in a foam cone, novel! we waited about 20 min as the about 6 people were before us.the MINI cod and chips to me were regular size! the fish actually had a fish taste, some places these days fish doesnt taste fishy. the batter was what i remember as a kid. the ships were handcut and a niceold fashioned flavour.they had very different english drinks in smaller cans too. i had tango, tasted like a bitter orange juice but fizzy, i quite liked it. partner had something with grapefruit which was nice too. the menu os well worth reading fully with the wierd stuff on it. mushy peas, gravy, curry sauce and baked beans as a side dish isnt my thing tho lol. other than that,we both enjoyed the dining and food. the potato scallops were rather oily tho, we didnt eat them because we were full, so took them home and reheated in the oven later that night, they turned out crispy like we just bought them.will go back again. cost us about $40
Approximate cost: $8-10
thought we would try this new place saturday night. was almost 8pm and thought we would miss out but they were still open.nice little corner store, quite big, friendly girl at counter and the guy making pizza said hello. shop is decked out in italian red white and green decor ,even tho the people working there looked indian :)
we ordered the garlic prawn large pizza $21.95 and a small garlic and cheese pizza $6.50. 2 drinks and gelato .took about 15 min, we waited just outside where they have a vespa on display and a big gelato stand. they have the pelligrini drinks which i like esp blood orange .they also have great gelato with the best flavours, we also bought a take home tub of blood orange, mars and raspberry gelato. the taste was tart of the fruits and so devine ,full of flavour.
so pizza is ready, i open the garlic one in the car cos im starving lol .the garlic one is full of cheesy flavour, not thin, and a lovely crispy base but thicker than we are used to and was great, it was also cut into 1cm squares so you can pull it apart in bits rather than slices. we both liked that idea.the prawn pizza was delicious with same crispy thicker base , lots of small prawns and sauce . better than a lot of pizza joints tho it could have done with more garlic flavour on the prawns, couldnt really taste it but the flavour of the rest of it was great.will go back again and try more pizzas. they also have pastas with fetuccine, gnocchi or spahgetti, tortelini. tables to eat inside or out, 2 picnic type able right outside the shop. loved it, they do have a website but it only mentions the maroochydore store. the beerwah store is very bright and clean and well worth a try
Approximate cost: $15.50
received my lovely perfume, saigon, in a larger than expected pink shaped bottle with an unusual lid. the bottle was shipped in a well packed box with a very nice silver gift bag that felt padded. the unusual bottles on there web site are absolutely lovely. they also have a mens variety, partner got the small green bottle of brut and its smells very nice ,different form all the woody musk smells, it smelt citrisy with a hint of vanilla.am happy to purchase . customer service is quickly answered. great site

Took my son to lunch here today, haven't been for about 2 years.i noticed a very different carpet on the floor, all different swirl patterns very ugly lol .furniture was the same as i remember tho. I had a salad bar, drink and a side dish of dusted jumbo prawns, don't know what they dusted them with but gee they were lovely battered king prawns! Only 3 tho for the $7.95. Son ordered the shrimp fry platter. Well a platter it aint! Very measerly for a main meal and not as much as 2 years ago,he was still a bit hungry so i went for the third time to see if the potato skins and potato bake were out yet, 3rd time lucky. love the skins and cheese bread with thousand island dressing . The potato bake sauce was a little thin and you didn't get any when you spooned it to your plate. The seafood salad was nice but needed to be more moist, was too dry with very little mayo on it.been creamier in past. Left us full after the extras. Odd that i paid for drinks but one cup was a tumbler at half the size of the other .all up was about $41. Place was half full, meal came pretty quickly.only saw 2 girls one who brought our meal and one that cleared the plates. I would prefer glasses for drinks but understand why they are plastic. Why people have to let there kids run around and think its cute i don't know! Probably won't go back for another 2 years lol
