went here on weekend from family member recommendation.
well we ordered 2 cod $6.50 each,chips minimum $2,1 serve of calamari $6, purchased 2 x 1.2 litre bottles of drink as they were cheaper than the small ones, 2 for $4 and of course potato scallops. asked for chicken salt but think they forgot. well the quantity was great ,surprised with the amount in the box, we got 3 cod instead of the ordered 2 but that didnt make up for the over cooked fish. the fish was harder on the edges,had shrunk in the crumb when its been overcooked and was a little rubbery and tasteless. no small tartare included which i expect these days to be added at no cost. potato scallops were ok, decent size but no salt and tasted oily. the chips were big and were ok .calamari seemed to be out of a pre packaged box and it slipped out of its crumb when you bit it. .i never finished mine ,like i said was bland everything seemed to taste the same and had been cooked at same length of time in same fryer.. the older man serving was quite friendly and helpful. the shop is very clean and well lit. tables and chairs are outside the shop to sit and eat. all in all quantity was great quality was lacking

Went to get burgers on way home from movies at james st tonight. Oh my god they are so filling! Can never eat all mine. Bought qlders and a serve of chips $30:50. Burger has everything in it AND beetroot! Its like so big,you can have choice of sesame or floured buns, sauce for chips is extra 70c but its relishes or aolis yummy. Chips are thick cut serve of $4:50 but its a large bucket. Really nice seasoned salt that tastes a bit bbqy, delish. Burgers are great choices,lamb,chicken,beef, vegetarian. Eat in or take away ,place is clean, they answer phone orders promptly, changed gloves often i noticed ,also when answered phone she changed gloves after hanging up. Place was quite about 12 ppl there so order was about ten minutes. Love the place , open till like 9 or ten at night better than maccas and more tasty,you can taste its been grilled and not fatty at all. Only thing tonight was that there was a little too much sauce on the burger and it made the ingredients slide out the bun somewhat, but over all the best burgers in town

Takeaway place in beerwah,very small,more like a shop front. Menu is extensive but i wouldnt make a return trip.sweet n sour prawns was nothing spectacular,lack of vegetables in the watery sauce i found the taste rather bland.think i counted 5 prawns in total one piece of pineapple and no onion.nice lady serving but thats about all. Usual size takeaway container fir $11 .wait was about 10 minutes, place is clean but the food isnt up to what im used to

well the look of the shop is pretty good, grey tiled floors, orange grey and white decor,tables out front to eat and in a courtyard on the side.alcohol can be purchased with your meal to eat on premises as well as fresh fish and prawns etc to purchase take home.you can order main meals to eat in as well. pretty open and airy store. I must say ,another place that over charges for potato scallops ,guys it's just a potato! very thin and flour and water batter! undersized as big as half my palm and $1.80.pineapple fritters again $1.85 . ridiculous. so we ordered from the board,2 cocktail packs ,which inc 6 fish cocktails, chips and the tiny packet of 20c tartare= $9.95 each +2 potato scallops to see what the $1.80 was about , 2 bottles of 600ml drinks= $30 sooo a long 20 minute wait ,very few waiting in front of us about 3 ppl. finally our order is here,so we drive to a picnic table by the water. well upon opening the food its :where's the rest of it ?" a small small serve of chips,about a small handfull of thicker cut chips. the "cocktails" were bites smaller than a chicken nugget quite a few were as small like my pinkie finger to the 2nd knuckle and that thin ! quantity is lacking for $10 ! the chips were cooked lovely tho and the tiny fish bits ,what you could taste were ok. nice seasoned salt on the chips too,they were golden and well cooked but for the cost needed twice as many and cocktails to actually be bigger . the potato scallops were half the size of normal ones from other places we have visited,too oily and flaky crumbly batter for me, so partner thought they were alright and he ate them. they need to up there game in quantity because we felt jipped ,and the wait was a bit long considering it was pretty much empty of people waiting on cooked food.they advertise gluten free cooking ,not sure what they do but they do it.wont be going back again tho.i was far from impressed with the quantity for the price. staff were just ok nothing out of the ordinary other than hello what would you like. hopefully the main sit down meals contained more filling for ones money than the takeaway

ventured here for the first time on the weekend from recommendation.easy to find, stinky meat smell upon entering but that's to be expected lol stores set up nicely meat one end frozen foods in fridge at other end,fish etc. meats are really cheap.purchases were 5 chicken schnitzels for $10.oyster blade steaks for $5 chicken wings for the car $2.80 quite a few wings on that tray too. lots of staff serving, friendly. trays of mixed meat were great at$20 , with sausages, rissoles ,steak on them. schnitzels for dinner tonight .place is clean and well set up

had dinner here for partners birthday a few weeks ago. sat opposite a couple where he ate his lamb shank with his hands ,picked his teeth with his fingers,nearly lost his fist there,and wrapped his bones in a serviette to take home. hmm anny way aside from that entertainment, the food is great, i had prawns in a creamy garlic sauce ,sauce was just the right consistency and the rice accompaniment was just right,light and fluffy and soaked up excess sauce. yum. i had to pick the corriander out tho im not a fan and i wish restaurants would detail the prawns in the sauces its annoying. partner had a hankering for calamari instead of me this time,the calamari i mean not me personally lol quite a large serving, cooked just right with a chilli aoli i think it was. and salad. looked marvelous. mine was rather filling tho . the drinks could be in a bigger glass as everywhere else, lemon lime and bitters came in a glass half the size of a normal one.... wasnt a big crowd there but we went a little earlier 7 pm i think it was so may have beat the crowd, bands on sometimes so you can have a great night out... parking is a little iffy ,on the street as car park was full. the restaurant is pretty big tho ,walk in order n sit down where you want. i really like the place

absolutely love this place and its been revamped .tickets are a bit cheaper if you buy online tho. lots of interesting things for adults even with out the kids walkin price is 435 for adults and $20.70 for kids. or family tickets cheaper. seal island shows where you can sit up top and watch or watch the seals play underwater in the theatre. touch pool where kids can touch starfish,sea slugs and urchins.lots of shows ans exploring to do. the souvenir shop i get lost in lol i love the cuddly animals more than my kids did. easily a whole day out and can go across the road to the shops to eat or a cruise up the river.lots of parking everywhere. wonderful day out with the kids

even tho this is a convenience store its way over priced.50c to $1 i can understand but when its like $3 or more for the same product at coles then i will go to coles. i only go here for things i need in desperation when i have forgotten something at the supermarket so i try not to make a habit of it. most girls are lovely and sometimes a bit too chatty with people ,holding up the line whilst the conversation is carried on can be a bit annoying.a largeish store always clean. watch out for nutters in the car park tho that think its a race track not a car park

great shop for finding something different that you need to make crafts. its the only place other than online i can find plain hair clips to decorate in a packet of 10 or more. lots of paints, craft supplies,papers.glitters,some unusual stuff that ive never seen in other stores at times. can be pricey tho.the clips i get are only like $6 a bag depending on size. 3-4 aisles to browse little skinny at times when crowded in the aisles at xmas or holidays tho... go check it out
