This is a place that tourists should come to if they are only visiting Sydney once. The view is amazing, but you have to be willing to pay about $26. Fortunately I had a voucher 2 for 1. I went during school holidays. There were more older people than I expected, so the queues were long, and doing this took at least 2 hours when it could have taken 1 hour.
This bar is a beautifully set location and has a spacious and relaxed atmosphere. The drinks are expensive as expected, but affordable. My boyfriend bought white wine, and even though it was pricey, it wasn't anything special. This bar is just a nice place to go before a show.
I came here to see Blaze (the dance spectacular) for $95 (adult price). The seats were comfortable, and you can see quite clearly what is happening on stage even if you are not at the front. It looked like the seats at the back weren't too far away either (even though they were about half the price of the ones I bought).
Only thing I don't like is how they charge a booking fee of $5 at the box office. It's a bit more expensive to book online.
Approximate cost: $100
The lettuce is not so fresh here, but other than that, this is a place that is reasonably priced to dine at casually. I like how it is conveniently located in the city.
I bought a voucher from Living Social for a 75 minute lunch buffet cruise around the harbour, which is normally about $50 per adult, but I paid $27 per adult. They had a range of food there, including pasta, noodles, seafood, meat and salad. You had the option of going outside too if you wanted. I think it was a nice experience, as the boat goes all the way around the harbour. We went close to the opera house as well.
Approximate cost: $27
I joined NIB last year. The benefits are reasonable for the amount you pay. However, this year I've had problems with claiming the optical. Hopefully this will be sorted out soon. They have been diligent to reply to my emails in the past, so I shouldn't have any further problems.
I watched the Hobbit 3D here yesterday. We sat at the back, which was the best distance from the screen, as it is very large. The price of $31 per ticket is very expensive, but we got a 20% discount from a voucher obtained from a brouchure in the airport.
I like how they do free shipping on orders over $65. I just bought 2 lots of twin pack Epson 73N high yield black ink cartridges from them for $74 in total. This was the best price I could find on the internet because other websites, although may have lower prices, charge more on the shipping, which may or may not be worth it, depending how much you need to buy.
This website has quite low prices on printer ink. Their shipping charges are also not as expensive as PrinterSupermarket.com.au. So if you are buying less ink, it might be better to get it from here instead.
This website has the lowest prices on printer cartridges. If you need to buy a lot at once, this is the best website to buy from. However, if you are not buying that much, then it might be better to get your ink either in store like Officeworks, or another ink website that charges less shipping. Shipping cost is $13.50 for ink from here.
I agree- the view is all the reason to go up there. Not to mention the shopping!
The shopping is ok. You don't necessarily have to fo to the tower for shopping. It's surrounded by Westfield.
