Cotton On Kids stock a wide variety of Children's clothing at reasonable prices. They have cute designs and you don't have to break the bank to buy a gift or an outfit. They had 30% off storewide today.
There was a long queue when I went today, but the service was quite quick since there were a few people serving at the counters. I'm glad the Westfield gift card can be used here to buy stamps.
The store is similar to many other Targets, including the one in Castle Hill. I was looking for underwear, but it was quite hard to find the right size and style because the racks are a bit messy and disorganised. They need to stock more of certain sizes because they seem to run out of my size a lot!
This Westfield is huge. It has all the major department stores, including Target, Myer, David Jones. There is also an event cinemas here, a Coles and Woolworths. There are many other stores as well, over 6 levels of shopping. The toilets are clean, and I like how they have a separate mirror without a sink in there. The Westfield gift card can be used in most of the stores here.
I had a very satisfactory experience here, even though I used a voucher. $89 for half head foils, wash, cut, blowdry. Took 2 hours, but I felt looked after here.
Gabby was my colourist. She asked what I wanted, and also gave some good advice about what to get done, as my hair has had foils done before. The colour turned out lovely and the cut by Anthony was thorough (I asked for a trim since I'm keeping my hair long). The staff were very friendly to me, and offered me drinks as well. I just asked for water. I also didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes after I arrived before I was attended to.
I've tried their lentil and veggie patties. All you need to do is put them in the oven to warm up, as they are already cooked. If you want, you could also pan fry, but I prefer not to add oil. It's an easy meal, and very convenient for one who eats a plant based diet. You can add your own salad and bread to make a sandwich, or just eat it as it is.
Their crunchy bars are tasty, with two in one pack. They're healthy snacks that you don't have to feel guilty about eating for your energy. They come in packs of 5. You can buy them from Woolworths.
Approximate cost: $5
This hotel is clean and has good service. The room is always made up tidily after a day out. The price is reasonable for a place in the city. It's not a far walk from the main tourist attractions, and closest station is Museum station (only 5 minutes walk from the hotel). You can rent movies on the TV for about $15, but it's only worth it if you're not going to stop the movie halfway because there's a time limit on how long you have the movie for.
I came on a Monday during the school holidays with a friend from the US. We paid for $24 each for the Alexander the Great exhibit. The regular price would have been $12 and we could have gotten a 20% off discount because I had a voucher, but we paid the extra anyway for the extra exhibit. It wasn't worth the extra in my opinion. The general exhibition stuff was more interesting for me and my friend. We could have seen the skeletons, animal and rock exhibits for under $12 each, but we paid twice the price for a bit extra, which was really just a bunch of statues and other things that didn't interest us. Someone else who is more into history might find it more captivating though.
I came here 2 weeks ago with a friend from the US. It was relaly great being able to touch many of the animals, including wallabies, kangaroo, emu, goats, sheep, cows and getting up close to many other ones. Spend about 2 hours here. Kids will enjoy this place.
