The store in Castle Towers is small, but it has everything you would need. I went in to get a small bottle of vodka. I asked the man at the counter for what I needed (the cheapest bottle), and he was quick to show me where they were located. Since I was looking for a mini bottle, I asked him about that and he got me one (Smirnoff) for $5. I was able to use the Coles group gift card that I had as well.
Approximate cost: $5
I bought a Vitamix from here. It was on sale, so it was the cheapest that I could find in Sydney. It also came with the dry jug, which I've found useful for grinding up flax seeds.
I come to this library to read magazines or to study when I'm near the station. The books are neatly organised, and the library is quiet enough to focus on your work. I've also been able to place an advertisement on their noticeboard, which received results.
I come to this Aldi when I'm in Stockland Mall to get personal hygiene items. They are cheaper than the other brands, but still very good quality. They also sell organic chocolate for $2 for 100g, which is also cheaper than other brands.
This is one of the reasons I go to Stockland Mall. The Harris Farm Markets here has some of the cheaper prices on fruit. Today they had mangoes selling $10 a tray, which is way cheaper than some of the other fruit markets.
This shop has a lot of variety in terms of stationary and gift items at a cheap price. Their cards are $2 each. I once bought a diary from here for only $2, and it will last me two years. The diary also came with stickers, which I liked.
The Newsagency is average size has everything the usual newsagency has - diaries, calendars, lotto, magazines, bus tickets. However the calendars they sell can be quite expensive at $20 each.
I bought the falafel (80 cents) and vine leaf (60 cents) from here just as a very small snack. Both taste good, but it'd be nice if the food was warmer.
I bought 2 vegetable rolls from here for $3 each. The price is reasonable for the quality. They put the sushi in a carton as apposed to a paper bag, which can be convenient for takeaway.
I've ordered bottles and other skin care products from here. The shipping is reasonable as it is within Australia (unlike other DIY skincare online shops), and the package arrived promptly. Only downside was the package was filled with foam that was quite hard to clean off the wrapping and could get messy when opening. Other than that everything came in good condition.
Glad you found what you needed
