Good pub,typical Irish settings;lots of green and Guineas signs :) there's heaps of seating and it's right in the CBD so you can drink there then literally go upstairs to Main Street nightclub.theres live bands on the weekend which always draws a large crowd.a good clean,fun big pub,and the best to be at on St Patricks Day!!
Only 7km out of mackay this pub is worth the drive,and even to stay over the night.the owner Butto is a great guy,really friendly and he's made a great pub.its got a real friendly country feel to it,a real locals pub,full of cane growers farmers and friendly locals.the bar has pokies,meals and accommodation!but they're really well known for the huge weekenders they have,with lots of live music,camping over,fires and music.best thing of all is the prices are country prices,not city :) so can of rum is $5.50 NOT $10 like in town at clubs.
Awesome big pub in Andergrove,lots of parking available and open 7days a week.they have excellent meals available,and do a large buffet.they also do two for one specials.the "Andy" is well known for its music acts and live bands,food,and place to party and meet mates :) a good bar with good people.
A fantastic company in Malay to hire for parties,weddings,christening etc.they hire out everything such as jumping castles,wet/dry slide,fairy floss machines,bucking bull..and for adults there's bouncy boxing,foam dance pit-even cocktail slushy machines!they service the whole mackay region,they come over and setup the equipment and then return and pack it up all in record time.easy to deal with,extremely helpful staff;we've used this business twice and are using them for our 5yr old girls bday in Jan!
This pubs great since it got the new owners a year back.the pub feels really laid back,as you walk in there's pool tables,bar and a pole for dancing :) you can get wood fired pizzas down the back which are delicious.out the back is a small open smoking area,upstairs is another bar with the best view over the river,it's awesome.you can also get accommodation,the rooms upstairs are small basic but clean and cheaper then the hotels.nice verandah out front too to watch the world go by :)
Fantastic business,I've seen them to get my Belair painted after it was hit by someone :/ Pacey and his dad too,are great guys and so good at what they do!its a bit of a wait to get in there,and costs a bit,but worth it have your pride and joy looking so good!
A great place for dinner,also lunch,a night out or even just to ay pokies quickly.they also have a lot of bands play and live music.food here s great,you can get shop a dockets where you get a free meal with another,so it's quite popular with people.foods basic pub fare which is always good,big meals and tasty.good pool tables,lots of pokie machines and staff are lovely.
Excellent pub right in town with the biggest beer garden!the meals here are always good,big servings and cheaper then restaurants.they have a room with a large variety of pokie machines,another room is the bar,and then another large room which has a bar,a stage and two pool tables.quite often there's live music,and they also hold boxing fight nights in the beer garden,which draws in
large crowds.upstairs accommodation is available,rooms are small but clean and affordable for mackay.the owner Mick is always happy to help if there's any problems.a good bar for either lunch,dinner or a night out!
An excellent pub/tavern to have a meal,drink,night out or lunch at.the place is really big,it's kid friendly(as much as a pub can be)as they have a kids room and also have heaps of kids activities.the food is always well made,fresh and tasty,meals are affordable for lunch and dinner.they have live bands a lot and its a great place to have a Sunday sess,or a night out.located 10kms out of mackay,arrange transport back to mackay if you're drinking or planning too as its too far to walk!
Open 7 days a week,located right in canelands,this salon is fantastic.its always packed as its so popular,but the lovely staff still treat you like you're their most important customer.all the staff are so professional,and efficient,you literally get in,get your nails done and get out within the hour.they always do a great job,the one time I had an issue(nail looked wonky)I went back and they fixed it immediately and gave me discount for next time!place smells strongly as most salons do,but the place is well ventilated.great place to get your nails done quickly and professionally!
