Ive stayed here a few times over the last few years and they've always been a really pleasing place to stay.only once we stayed and the aircon was broken so they gave us a free night which was fantastic.the rooms are really big and super cleans nd lovely,the view is amazing,plus it's quiet down on shingley beach as its just out of airlie beach.will be staying there again!
Macs engineering services the mining industry predominantly but also cater to individual customers needs.i got a tray made up for my land cruiser ute,and it's the best made tray,to this day.i also had rops put on,also excellent.cost was extremely reasonable,and they've lasted for years now.these guys make so mic stuff for your 4WD but also do fabrication as well.the best place in mackay to get anything you need designed and welded up.
I went here to get my "64 Chevrolet belair roadworthy and Jim did a great job.ive also taken my short wheel base land cruiser there years ago and he did a great job as well.Theyre extremely knowledgable,good at their job and professional.the prices are fair and I will be taking my new dodge there if anything need to be done as they great mechanics.
I went here last year for a hair style and was really disappointed,the lady didn't know what I wanted but tried it anyways,and it failed :/ the girls are quite snooty,the shop advertises as somewhere very exclusive and high fashion,but it's not as much as it would like.they need to concentrate on hair styling and less about advertising.price was to much,but then she only charged me half as she didn't do it properly,so that was ok.i did only go here once,so maybe other people had better experiences..unfortunately I will stick to my other hairdressers from now on.
I used this business for myself and my kids when I lived around the corner last year.firstly,it's never packed,but is busy enough you know it's a good salon.the older lady working there is so helpful and friendly,I once enquirer about a 50"s hair do,she grabbed the curlers on the spot and gave me a quick demo how to make big curls,all for free,which was really good of her.i bought a lot of hair products from here,and also my son always got a good haircut from here.its not one of the"cool" salons in mackay,a lot of older ladies go there i noticed,but it's nice as it has a cosy feel to the place.cant say a bad thing about the staff the service or the shop as they're all great!
I got a spray tan here and was satisfied,and will be going back and recommending it to friends.the salon also does all forms of hairdressing,beauty,makeup and does wedding and formal packages.they also use Keune which is a favourite of mine!ladies working there were genuinely nice and knew what they were doing.
Colleens business karmic soul,is an extremely relaxing and convenient service over in Andergrove.available by appointment,she does cuts,styles,colours,eyelash tinting and wedding/formal packages.shes very time conscious,and also ensures that you're relaxed there,including having a massage chair.she also uses a environmentally friendly hair colour,which is nice.also service mackay and beacons field,and accepts cash and card,her service is as good,if not better,then ducking into a hairdressing salon.
Took my son here to get a basic haircut,it was a good cut,the lady judy who did it was nice,the price was $18 which is standard.the shop is clean and looks nice,extremely convenient being in canelands plus you don't need an appointment to get in.never packed out either.
Open 7 days a week,this is one of the four new nail salons in canelands.the ladies working here are all lovely professional Asian women who are so good at their job,they are so professional,polite and efficient,it really is a pleasure getting your nails done.the place has the strong smell that all nail salons do,other then that it's extremely clean,and so convenient being in canelands.i get my nails done whilst waiting for my sister to do her shopping.they do acrylic nails,nail art,pedicure manicure etc,they have a wide range of services,all extremely affordable.
Sizzler never let's my family down,it's always a great night out.the restaurant in mackay is clean,you don't need to make a booking,the food is excellent(I just had Szechuan prawns from their new Asian flavours menu,I"ll be back for more!)the staff here are very helpful and friendly locals,so it's always a pleasure to dine there.the food is not too expensive,especially with all you can eat dessert salad etc it works out a eat price.if you're looking for somewhere that's always a good feed,go here,you won't be disappointed!
