A local fish and chips shop which promotes locally sourced seafood. Presents high quality food and leaves no doubt about the authenticity of the fish being served and it's freshness. A Slightly more upmarket take away
Rustic restaurant with tapas food and good beer selection with some of the best views in Townsville overlooking magnetic island. Slightly pricey but great date place.
Friendly trainers who are knowledgeable and create a great team environment. A perfect place to train with the sea breezes. A good variety of training times and all fitness levels catered for.
This is a great Brazillian BBQ restaurant with a quaint ambience. Skewers of freshly cooked meat are brought around to your table and sliced off on your plate. The Food and service is excellent and best to go when you are really hungry as it is all you can eat.
Juliette's is in the perfect place overlooking the ocean with deck chairs and tables outside so you can relax for a moment and catch your breath. The gelato range and taste is first class as is the service with a smile. I enjoy the milkshakes that they make which are very fully flavoured and cold and sweet. The value is on par for what you would expect for a premium product.
These guys open 24 hours and have a really good range of food in the hotbox, more so then most places. They make heaps of different types of sandwhiches and rolls both hot and cold. They also regularly discount down the food if it has been there for a bit but is still good so you don't ever feel ripped off. They do meals in good portions and its perfect if you want a late nigh snack...everything is also much better value then a fastfood outlet.
Tried some fish and chips here the other day and found them pretty good. Fish was cooked well and not over cooked. The chips were large in portion but a little over cooked for me though my friend really enjoyed them.
Went here for a work function recently. The food is prepared when ordered and extremely fresh. The service staff were very good and attentive to all our needs.
Very functional little units 5 minutes walk from the strand and about 3 minutes to the park area at the strand. The units have everything you need including internet, cook top, microwave etc. A very friendly little family run business. The only difficult part is the very small amount of room for parking.
Adventurer's has the potential to be a great set up with plenty of room and potentially some excellent facilities..it falls down in a number of areas though. Firstly the place is very run down and could definitely be brightened up with minimal costs. The hotwater regularly run out in the middle of winter leaving cold showers. The toilet and showers appeared to not be cleaned on a daily basis. The staff at the counter were generally friendly but overall the place seems very understaffed.
