If you want to eat what actual Chinese people eat when they dine out then this is the place to go. It's a no-frills kind of place where you will rarely find non-Chinese people and the service is quick. The cuisine is Szechuan so very hot and spicy. Try the specials menu which includes 4 dishes to $48. The chilli chicken is the best and if you feel yourself coming down with a cold, head straight there as it will cure what ails you! Don't expect to linger or engage in chit chat with the staff. Just sit down, chow down, pay and leave. But you'll be glad you went! Easy parking right outside. A variety of interesting canned and bottled drinks is available.

Had a business meeting at Buzz and was pleasantly surprised to find that not only was there Wi-Fi free but it was also fast. The place was very busy for a week day morning but the service was prompt and there was plenty of staff to take care of everyone.

Sit inside or outside, enjoy breakfast or lunch. I think I'd like to go back to try one of the amazing menu options on offer. There's also a range of cakes and other treats in the cabinet at the counter.

This clinic is always a great standby when you need a doctor but your regular practice is closed. On weekends it can be pretty expensive though and you have to take your receipt to Medicare for a rebate.

The doctors are good, parking is plentiful and now that the roadworks are nearly complete, access is easier.

This store seems to have lifted its game. The service was excellent on our last visit although I have to take exception to their credit card policy. I try to make life easier and pay by credit card over the phone so I can send my son in to pick the pizzas up and avoid parking hassles. They still insisted on me going in to sign for the c/c purchase, even though mine is a PIN card requiring no signature. Very inconvenient.

The pizzas were well made and the free Lava Cake (from ordering via Facebook) was a lovely throw-in.

So many ways to order from Dominos now! Via Android or iPhone app, via Facebook, via their website or over the phone. I wonder what would happen if I mailed my order with a cheque! ;)

I love Aldi and this store is easy to shop at, park at and get around. Just wish they would open another checkout sooner when the lines get too big.

Product range is excellent. They are always well stocked. The fresh produce seems to have improved in quality lately and there were some great specials when I went this week.

Staff are friendly and efficient.

I'd been to Vroom quite a few times in the past but had somehow moved on. My most recent visit was due to a deals voucher and I hoped it wouldn't taint our experience. It certainly didn't! The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. In particular, Greg, the owner was attentive, friendly and warm.

Seating is available inside or outside and as it was winter, there were plenty of gas heaters keeping everyone warm. The creme brulee was to die for and the citrus donut was amazing! We also had eye fillet each and neither of us was disappointed.

Parking can be an issue but fortunately for us, we were able to park right outside. Still, don't let parking put you off. Take the time to find a (legal) spot and enjoy the Vroom experience. It's friendly, the food is great and there are no negatives. We'll definitely be back for the Eggs Benedict one weekend!

Seriously? $72 for 3.5 hours? I nearly fell over when I saw the figure on the screen. For that I want VALET parking, a car wash and an oil change! It's precisely this kind of thing that drives car and foot traffic to the suburban shopping centres. Well, this plus excessive costs for public transport.

Get over yourself, Secure Parking. I should have realised the price would be ridiculous when I saw how many vacant spots were available.

The food is always delicious at a Sitar restaurant. There's a great range of options and all of it is very tasty. On this occasion we found the service a bit slow and also the radiator heaters provided at each table close to the open-walled area might as well not have been there. Something about a tripping power switch (concerns, anyone?).

Still, the food was delicious and the service pleasant if not a tad slow. I'd still return.

I recently went to Contrasts Hair Studio for an upstyle. Charmaine, the owner, is a lovely lady who takes great pride in her business and genuinely cares for her clients. The salon is comfortable and well appointed and Charmaine is well experienced and skilled.

Street parking is handy nearby. Facial and body waxing is available, as are spray tans.

I wish hair salons would either employ people who are older than teenagers or employ teenagers with a little personality. The girl who 'served' my elderly mother had zero empathy and very little enthusiasm.

Mum has been going there for several years but that experience in particular has put her off. I'll start taking her to an independent local salon.
