Incredible service and results from nerdcore computer (nick)
I can't express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding service I received from Nick at Nerdcore Computer. After three other professionals gave up on my hard drive, I thought all hope was lost. My hard drive was in terrible shape, and I had already resigned myself to losing thousands of precious family photos and videos memories I had collected over many years.
Then came Nick, who took on the challenge and worked his magic. Not only did he recover 70% of my files, but he also managed to retrieve thousands of photos and videos I thought I'd never see again. To say I was blown away by his professionalism and dedication would be an understatement.

Frequent unexplained laptop shutdown
Nick was onto the issue immediately when sent a photo of message that appeared after laptop would shutdown without explanation.
Thorough explanatation & review of device be Nick & with an installed virus protector we out in 2 hours.
Would recommend Nick as this is the third time we have returned for different issues.

Took my mother's Lenovo's laptop to be repaired as her charging port was loose. She had previously had her laptop repaired elsewhere with the problem only recurring a couple of months later. Made a time with Mick to have the laptop checked out and I appreciated not to be mucked around. He checked on whether he could get the part required for the fix, the labour cost, and opened up the laptop to explain to me the options and risks of the fix. Highly recommended!

I have an Alienware computer which I use for digitising music for the National Film and Sound Archive part of the National Library it is out of warranty and died. I contacted Dell and they said it had a mother board fault and since it was 5 years old they had no parts and could not help. I went to Nerdcore in the afternoon and within 2 hours on the following day had the computer fixed. The service was super excellent and the technician was very polite. I would highly recommend Nerdcore for very very fast service with an excellent result

Fantastic service - alienware 17 laptop fixed
Thanks Nerdcore, my fans in my Alienware 17 laptop that was out of warranty were not functioning and sounded terribly loud. He was able to replace the fans and battery with exploded cells. I fried my wifi and damaged my hard drive. All this was fixed within one week while I was on a family holiday and he put in some extra RAM. Thanks so much. It’s now functioning again like a brand new laptop and you can barely tell it is on again with the fan replacement. Thanks again appreciate the communication to understand the problems and get the laptop fixed before I fried it more.

I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.
Free brand new laptops were being given away by one of Australia's biggest retailers, but I just wasn't interested. I knew I would be much better off going to see Nick at NERDCORE. On a Friday evening, my laptop died. I rang NERDCORE the next day at 10:30 AM; Nick said to bring my laptop in, upon which he diagnosed my issue and I then decided on the choices he presented me with. He removed the SSD hard drive from my dead laptop and installed it in the new laptop he had in stock. Nick then updated my new ProBook HP laptop to Windows 11 and ran the first drivers and system update. When that was finished, he gave me a quick demo of how I could run the updates myself, allowing me to video that with my smartphone which was a big help in running several updates over a week or so at my home. I paid Nick, and was out of the shop by 1:30 PM and cannot put into words how pleased I am with Nick's service at NERDCORE; I simply wouldn't go anywhere else.

Double trouble - nick'll fix it!
Two computers of mine broke in the same week. Lucky me! First off the rank was my HP desktop -- the PSU went pop. It was smoking silicon! Second was my laptop PC (Lenovo Thinkpad), conked out and didn't turn on anymore. I needed my computers fixed quick. Shopped around for quotes with the usual suspects only to encounter rip-off artists and professional equivocators. Then I came across Nick & Nerdcore. Nick (technician) is an honest man; passionate about his craft. Solved my problems in a jiffy. Traded-in my old computers for better ones at an excellent price. Highly recommended!

I needed an urgent repair on a home workstation on a Sunday morning.
Nick at Nerdcore was amazing, I was offered a call-out or drop-off service. Nick was able to assess and solve the issues to get my PC up and running in-store within a couple of hours.
Upon returning home and running into a couple of additional issues Nick managed to guide me through a troubleshooting proccess over the phone to ensure I was back up and running with minimal disruption to my workflow.

I dealt with Shahil for my air bnb property and was extremely happy with his service.
Shahil was able to repair the wifi issue, organise the cables and have the place running with a better wifi setup. I found Shahil very reliable, knowledgeable, organised and able to perform the task in a prompt manner

I recently asked Nick to create for me a new gaming PC. The one he organized is excellent: 13th Gen i9 processor, 128GB system RAM, 24GB GeForce RTX4090 video card, huge storage capacity, 2 4k monitors, WIN 11 Pro. I called Nick to organize a new pc build. Some of the parts I requested were difficult to source, and due to their size and power also required special considerations re: case size and cooling. Nick handled everything superbly, was responsive on the phone, via SMS, and quickly responds to emails. A [very minor] hiccup in the process was handled professionally, and altogether I could not have hoped for a better customer experience.
This is the second custom pc Nick has built for me, and it certainly won't be the last.
