This is probably one of the cleanest cafes I have ever encountered, it was spotless. The staff were great and our meals were also very fresh and tasty. My girlfriend and I were just after a quick meal and chose a steak sandwich each, very tasty, quality meat and fresh salad. Coffee was perfect as was my girlfriends vanilla slice, truly delicious, she said. Very reasonably priced, one of the nice cafes in Strathalbyn.

Was visiting a friend nearby and we decided to pick up a few pizzas for dinner. A bit expensive but thought it would be worth it as we had ordered a few times before. On this occasion, it was extremely disappointing, the crust was not crust, it was still doughy. I guess in the rush to get everyone served they undercooked it. The toppings also didn't look/taste cooked. But this was only with one of the pizzas, the other one was perfect. A bit strange, but we didn't feel like going back and complaining, we just recooked it in the over for 10 minutes and it was fine. So my rating is mixed, but I will try them again, they were just very busy on this particular day.
I have now decided Hillbilly Chicken make the best burgers in Mount Barker and I have tried many places, but these are awesome, a must try. Fresh ingredients, quality meat and crisp chips. They also do fish and chips, salads and of course chicken. Great location and prices very reasonable.
I checked out this cafe last year with friends, a great place offering fabulous meals for severe meat lovers, especially on a weekend when they do lamb on a spit. Decent varied menu offering hamburgers, hot dogs, steak sandwiches, schnitzels, cakes, coffee and also homemade desserts. Did find service was slow but our food was great.
Huge fulfilling delicious meals, reasonably priced and friendly staff, what more can you ask for. i have had many meals here with friends and family, never disappointed. The Garlic prawns were large, fresh and fabulous, crisp chips, steak perfectly prepared everytime. My girlfriend loves her schnitzel and fish and chips. No complaints, great place for an inexpensive meal.
I have been here many times especially for a later breakfast early lunch, they do Bacon and Egg rolls particularly well, the are served with a delicious tomato relish and cheese and don't forget they do come awesome coffee aswell. Their menu is fairly large offering rolls, wraps, sandwiches, pulled meat wraps, cakes and creamy delicious donut cakes (which my girlfriend loves). Everything always tastes fresh and delicious, never been disappointed. Service with a smile!
This is a great cafe for coffee, cake, donuts and many pastries. They have so many different flavoured pies, so far I have tried the salt and pepper squid, hamburger, curry beef, pepper beef and at one stage the Ned Kelly - which I do recall was different but nice. Their donuts are quite often $1 each, great with a coffee. Seating inside and out, I wouldn't sit outside as there really is much to look at as you are right on the intersection.
The staff are always friendly and the food always delicious, heaps better than the Meadows bakery and I think a lot more popular with the locals now.
Was happy to discover another Benny's whilst out shopping with my girlfriend recently. This store has a much larger seating capacity than the other stores. The staff were extra friendly, we ordered some onion rings and chilli cheese fries as well as the buffalo wings. We both enjoyed every bite and are definitely looking forward to our next visit very soon.
Tried one of their burgers recently and have to say it really was good, better than i expected. Also picked up a tandoori pizza and was enjoyed by all. They have an extensive pizza menu for the usual to the gourmet type, they have improved since my last visit. Yes the pizzas are a bit expensive, but they really are great, generous fresh toppings and crisp base. Service was prompt and friendly.
This joint is in such a great location for me, within walking distance from a mates place. We often go here for their authentic quality pizzas, the bases are crisp and overflowing with toppings. Have to say their burgers are awesome aswell. You can tell these guys love what they are doing as they are always smiling and extremely friendly. That's part of the reason why I keep going back.
