This servo is ok,petrels fine,but the shop is often a bit grubby,the foods are stale and dusty,it's fine for grabbing fuel but not much else.also the petrol variety is not large.
Always good service,they have a good selection of drinks and foods as well.the food they cook on the premises is always fresh and cooked well.shops clean and staff are friendly and efficient.
A large petrol station at city gates in mackay,this servo is quite large,the service is great,the toilets are clean and is right next to the tourist centre which has a big park,so you can get fuel,and let kids/pets play.the selection of foods/drinks/magazines etc is varied and there's a large selection.convenient location and 24 hours.
Tattoo studio located right in town,monk has tattooed for years in airline before moving to mackay,he's a great artist.hes quite heavy handed,but you know the tattoos definitely in there :) the apprentices are great,they have some guest artists usually famous,so they are quite booked out.the shop is clean and comfy,a goods ace to get tattooed.
Mick Aplin is one of Australia's most highly acclaimed tattooist,and it's well deserved.his art is amazing,when he tattooed he's quite light handed,and he's also pretty quiet,no unnecessary chattering,he just concentrates on his work!his wife is lovely,their apprentices are great,also very talented.the shop is very nice,heaps of art on the walls and stuff for sale.they are booked for months though,so do book months in advance if you're planning a tattoo here.
Very professional,qualified tattoo studio,the shop is extremely clean,the artists are talented easy going and helpful.prices are standard for tattoos,keeping in mind it's well worth the money as there are some of Australia's best.
Subway always has great food,and this shop does.unfortunately most the times I've been there theres been very young staff who have been inadequate,or too rushed and my subs have either been incorrect or poorly made.i go to town subway now instead,the location is convenient,it's at 4ways in mackay and they do have daily specials.
Located north side in mackay,it's not as close to town as most pizza shops,but worth driving over to.their menu is really good,they have more choices then most places,they have the new pizzas that are quite"fancy" and a nice change.they have traditional pizzas that are great,drink selection and desserts are varied,service is always fast and friendly.cost is standard,you pay more for the "fancy"pizzas but its worth it!

Nice friendly place,went there a week after they opened and they were busy,but not too busy.have been back a few times and they are always busy,again not packed though just enough that you know they are a good business.the foods always good,the staff are friendly,it's a great location and being near the beach,it's always an excellent place to eat after a swim!
Right in mackay Cbd,this Mexican restaurant is one of the better Mexican plac I've been too.the food is great,tasty and always freshly made,lots of choice.the drinks are delicious,there's also a great choice,from frozen margaritas,mocktails and foreign beers.staff is super friendly and efficient.cost is suitable for what you get.great night to be had by all!
