Fantastic burgers that are made from good quality natural ingredients. Oh so tasty and you don't need to feel to guilty after eating there. The burgers are huge and hard to get your mouth around. Very messy too, but that's part of the charm. I can never resist ordering the chips as they are beautifully seasoned and delicious.

Wotif is the only place I go for the best accommodation rates. I often use it to check out which hotels are in the area, viewing on a map and looking at their photos. Sometimes it's cheaper to check out the actual hotel's website for rates and other times Wotif have the best deal.

Borders have some great deals when you join up to their email list and you can get up to 40% off RRP. They are much more expensive than Amazon, but you can take the book home with you instead of waiting weeks for your delivery.

I prefer to fly Qantas on domestic flights, but they are usually more expensive than Virgin Blue. Nice to still get a snack and drink on board, especially a mini bottle of Australian wine after 4pm.

I fly Virgin only when they are cheaper than Qantas, which is most of the time. YOu pay for what you get, or rather what you don't get. No food or drinks are complimentary, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. Have had a few delayed flights with Virgin, but overall a great airline for cheap short leg flights.

Having a Myer card has made me shop at Myer more often as the rewards have been great. Staff can be hit and miss, sometimes very helpful, while others won't go out of their way to help you.

I go to priceline to check out their prices on beauty products as they are usually cheaper or have good deals. The service isn't great and the store has small isles so I only go when it's not busy.

Always busy, but worth the wait. We often go to Hanaichi on a Friday night and when there's just two of us we get a table fairly quickly, but any more than 3 people and you'll be waiting a while. The food is always fresh and delicious.

Not being able to book can be a good or bad thing about dining at Mecca Bah. A few times we have turned up with a group of 10 people on a sat or fri night and waited for about an hour for a table, which is totally fine as you can order drinks and sit at the small seated waiting area.

We arrived without a reservation on a busy tuesday night and were seated immediately next to the large open kitchen. Simple decor and a beautiful view across to the Star City Casino. It took a while to decide what to order as so many options sounded great. The highlight was a side dish of freshly baked roti with a spicy dipping sauce. We ordered more bread as the sauce was just too good to waste.
