Terrible experience, no customer support
I and my friends recently booked accommodation in New Zealand through Wotif and had an absolutely dreadful experience. Upon arriving at the place called Rotorua Citizens Club on 04 January 2024, We waited at the reception for more than an hour without anyone assisting me. We followed the instructions provided at the place to reach the receptionist to check in but no response at all from the hotel. We ended up finding a new place to stay that night.
We contacted Wotif for support on the same day and no support was provided.
We sent emails the day after to find out what will happen to our booking fee and no response was received.
What's worse is that they still charged my card on 10 January 2024, which is 6 days after the day we supposed to stay in there hotel.
We reached out for clarification on the charge and received no response whatsoever. The lack of customer support is incredibly frustrating, and it seems like they don't care about their customers once the booking is made.
We would strongly advise against using Wotif for any travel bookings. The lack of accountability and support in case of issues is unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable platform for your travel needs.

Easy to search for accommodation using the computer or phone app. Normally good value, but sometimes not the cheapest available price. Easy to use
9 times out of 10 this is the cheaper option for booking accomadation. It even cheaper than booking with the motel directly. I use wotif alot and have never had a problem. Its quick and easy and you can compare motels you are looking at for best price.
Whenever or where ever I travel I always check www.wotif.com for the latest reviews on hotels and accomodation. They always have the best prices and I love looking at the photos people have uploaded.
Innovative website and app. Wotif is very user-friendly and helps you find what you are looking for with efficiency and clarity. They offer good filtering and you can save favourites for future review
Have used this service plenty of times. Very easy to use and gives you the best affordable places to stay. Love how you can also see reviews from other people before you make the decision to book a place and how it also has the option of free cancellation incase plans change.
Love using wotif, use it almost everytime I am looking for accommodation. The website is easy to navigate, and I love their mystery deals when I don't have a particular place I want to stay. They provide such great deals, huge discounts and overall its a great service to use.
When it comes to finding last minute accommodation Wotif cant be beaten...we have found it an excellent resource when travelling.....just hit the Ipad and within seconds you have the best buys in your nearby location

This site is great I've used it numerous times to find the best price on a motel. Only thing is sometimes if you find your deal then contact the motel directly then can give you a better price. I did get a great deal from wotif for 7 nights on the Gold Coast that could not be beaten.

This is one of the main websites I use when I have little time and want to find something quick. They offer amazing deals and have a great easy to use service.
Wotif is a life saver at times of need and when have no time to be looking around. It has saved me many times. Love there service and the variety of options they have. I'd say there number one is accommodation and how easy it is to search and compare on the one site. One of many great websites around these days. Good job guys.
Alwys use wotif and love it. We dont travel much but when we do and we need a place to stay I use wotif. Good service and very easy to use.

this is a great site if you are looking for cheap accomodation,they have fantastic deals,very highly competitive and offer vouchers too,was only on here yesterday looking up accomodation for my daughter and son in law for a christmas present
I get alot of good deals through here. Ive stayed at many nice places and the reviews from others are spot on. Would start here when booking a place.
We use wotif all the time, as we frequently travel. We always manage to find a great deal on good quality accommodation.
We also give gift vouchers to family so they can have a nice weekend away.

I recently made a trip to Sydney, and being unfamiliar with accommodation in the area, started searching for hotels with no luck. Then I was recommended Wotif by a friend.
The site allows you to search for a range of hotels in your selected area. You can select your ideal price range or star rating, and the location, and it comes up with a large variety of options. This makes it easy to compare hotels, based on things like hotel and nearby facilities, transport, shopping spots, tourist activities, and more.
I easily found a suitable hotel.
You then have the option of booking your hotel through Wotif (as opposed to the hotel's on website). We found that Wotif offered more competitive pricing (through their own deals) and had the nights we required available.
The hotel we stayed at was true to the description on the website, and met all of our expectations.
Wotif made booking stress-free and convenient, and I would definitely use it again.
A great website that offers last minute accommodation and flight packages at a great price. An added bonus is if you sign up to their email newsletter you get all the great deals first as a member. If you love a surprise I suggest booking their great secret hotels which I found were 5 star hotels at a fraction of the regular price. Highly recommend

great for booking all my accommodation, also great with my newborn i know where i am going and saves all the hassel. and being i live in a small town and i travel alot with my hubby who works as a jockey.
I love booking through wotif so easy and quick n holiday for my boyfriend n kids they help me alot n its cheepa holiday packers out there to get love it
Wonderful site for finding accommodation last minute. So easy to search and find what you need, and they're very accommodating. We booked a room assuming we could do an activity, and then they said we can't, so Wotif postponed the accommodation for us! Brilliant!
Great site, especially if you need accommodation at the last minute. This site has been a life saver for me on a couple of occassions. I was surprised with the rooms I got as they were rooms that I normally could not afford.
I always use wotif when traveling and i have never had a problem. It's such a great site and is easy to use. It's a great place to start when planning a holiday and always has great deals.

we always use wotif to book our accommodation. we have been to NZ 4 times in 4 years the first being 4 weeks on our honeymoon. we booked each place on motif the night before the next stay. all the details were correct and we saved a lot of money. wouldnt book with anyone else. Easy to search and payment is easily make and you get a confirmation email and you get a email the next day to give your review so they know who their clients are and how they treat their customers. Would not use any other travel booking system. There prices are great and never stayed in a place that wasnt worth staying at again.
I used Wotif.com to find my partners and I very first mini Vacation together in our City (Adelaide). It was so easy to use and had heaps of great deals, great place to compare prices of places to stay. Defiantly will use this site again and again. :)
