Took a 25 min drive to check out the best burgers in qld. Omg well worth the trip. Nothing here is even slightly To complain about. decor is old 60s mechanic come bar with all old coke machines, stools, decor and good 60/80s music blaring into the court yard. Staff are old fashioned friendly. The young girls are very friendly and helpful with the menu and first timers.
Go to the counter ,pick a seat out in the sunshine or a few inside, tho a wedding party was in the big room today when we were there. We took our menus ,sat in the big backyard and went back to order a ricks burger, $16 and a chicken burger ,chips and prawn twists. Will share chips next time.2 baskets were very filling.
Food is great and huge serves.
Burgers were succulent, fresh salads, beautiful tasty tomato relish on mine.chicken was grilled to perfection, 2 thin grilled sliced breasts and gorgeous salad on a bun bigger than the food so nothing fell off ,the bun was so light that you didnt know you were eating bread and you just tasted the food. Very impressed.partner was also impressed with his ricks burger and agreed the buns and fresh taste were excellent. Chips were long crunchy and hot. Served in small silver baskets that believe me weren't that small when we were eating lol . I had a refreshing cascade apple drink and partner had a beer. The food, staff ,decor and setting is commended. Very relaxing. Worth having a birthday lunch with family there. Will return many times now . Plenty of parking outside. Can't praise it enough. All up was about $53 .
Great shop with really friendly staff.
Located in The small shopping complex at bella vista near the retro pizza shop.
They have fun with ocassions like xmas and halloween and decorate the shop.lots of delicious cakes ,pies, tarts for all ocassions.
They do xmas orders as well. Absolutely love the beef chunky pies! That with a drink and a take home pizza under $15. Parking is easy out front
Not a bad little place tucked in the back of bella vista shops.
Look for the yellow and red shop, cheap tuesdays are 2 pizzas for $22. Good size pizzas. All meat and a ham and pineapple our faves. Drinks are reasonable prices. They also have pastas and chicken. Car parking isnt too bad i. The small shopping car park right out front. Open 7 days 4pm till 9 pm is great. Staff can be talkative and funny. Have a try
Approximate cost: $30
Ok where do I start!
The shop is right opp the beach so Im thinking tourist prices. Not wrong there.very expensive.
Vast menu with lots of pre packs.but way over priced when charging $3.80 for one pineapple fritter! Come on guys! I picked up a menu and calculated that items purchased separately were cheaper than a pack. Some by $2 ,now packs had a wedge of lemon and a small tartare so figured that compensated for the cost but then other packs had it included and the price wasnt inflated .so go figure how they work that one out. I wasnt about to pay $10.30 for my kids 3 fish bites and small chips ,thought that was a bit far fetched. A seafood box was $27.80 and all it had was small chips,10 fish bites and 2 potato scallops! Think they left something out.
Ok on that note we purchased 2 snack boxes consisting of 1 fish ,small chips and small calamari lemon and a squeeze of tartare which they charge 70c for otherwise. That was $17.40 .onion rings 5 for $4:80 .2 potato scallops $1:80 each and 2 bundaberg drinks for $4:60 each all up we paid $52:40! For something that would cost us $32 at our fave fish n chip shop!
We all shared and kids were happy.
The fish was nice and big ,crumb was nice, not oily but i felt it could have been cooked a tad longer as mine was mushy under the crumb still like uncooked batter.
Chips were great thin crispy. We asked for chicken salt but didnt taste anything..onion rings leave a lot to be desired, they just tasted like oil. Potato scallops were big and thick but again a mouthful of oil when eaten.pass.
Calamari was perfectly crumbed and cooked.we went across the rd to the beach and found a seat to eat dinner. The service was fast even tho we had 4 couples Infront and 5 behind us on a fri night around 6:15 ,took under ten min for our order ,that I was impressed with.
It has won best fish n chips award but Other than the calamari ,I wasnt impressed with anything and the prices are way inflated . Store is lovely, clean ,bright and blue and white decor with tables and chairs inside. I suggest a once try ,too expensive to keep going back.
Even though items are more expensive here I have shopped here for years.I always find the lovely bras that fit and matching undewear.lovely, silky nighties .the ladies are great, always asking if Im ok or need a different size. Very helpful indeed. Love my matching sets tho can only afford it a few times a year. Got a beautiful lacy orange set for $97 .love this place. Store is bigger than where it was situated in westfield before. Nice and bright, parking is always available. Stays open till 5:30 most nights
Although thismplace gets packed and the queue out the door during holidays ,its the best place to get service and free lessons to use ipads and iphones . Staff name tags are a a bit over sized I reckon lol,but apart from that ,its a huge bright store that sells apple products, accessories and you can book for ipad lessons or desktop lessons even if its just to update yourself on the new programmes. Have purchased ipad covers for around $40 that last forever and the store is huge and bright with all products set up to try. Staff even dress up on certain days.the day we were there they were super heroes. I do,suggest you book appt tho to save the long waits
Went looking for a guitar stand for nephews birthday. Came here to browse and certainly found something suitable for $40. The owner knows what he is talking about with all, things musical. Has guitars, amps, sheet music etc lots of bits n pieces music related. Very small store tho and a bit dark but you can find lots of things here music related
Great little spice store in bullcock st . Easy to find .parking on the street is a no go though so park in one of the free car parks one street over. Lots and lots of fresh spices to explore. Staff can answer any q relating to the spices and cooking. I find my indian cooking spices here whole or ground. Cost is reasonable .i usually end up with $10 worth and last me a few months .Well, worth the look
Absolutely the best fabris place I have ever been to. They have designs I cant find anywhere else. Comic characters, betty boop, walking dead so many different kids character materials.trimmings etc .the place is cramped with materials. Not a lot of room to move but I love it. A few parking spaces outside in the lot .if you go there you will need plenty of time to browse. I purchased walking dead, Spiderman, betty boo and lots of flamingo and trims to make totes and aprons. Soent about $65 and usually soend that much every time i go there. Brians there sometimes and the staff are great .well, worth the effort to find them
Great little shop opposite Iga. I was needing a globe for my sewing machine and service was quick and helpful. Lovely lady who served me and we got to chatting for a few minutes about some material I spied instore and decided I really needed it lol they have lots of bits and pieces you may not find everywhere else. Sweing machine lessons too. Parking can be across the rd in iga or the car park in the alley way nearby
