My favourite Japanese in Melbourne. Great menu selection and there is usually a wide range of specials too. The sake menu is extensive and the staff are knowledgeable about the different sakes.
There are 3 different secions, casual eating, sake bar and fine dining. I have eaten in the first two but not the third.
I've been here a few times for lunch when meeting friends with kids. The food is ok - basic pub grub. The plus side is that it's great with kids as there is a play area.
Delicious Gelato and a fabulous range. Their lemon Gelati is to die for! I love getting a take away container full of this stuff :) My only complaint is there is so much choice that it's hard to choose!
I loved my visit here. I had the best massage I have ever had and the hot springs were so relaxing. I went for two sessions. One at night and another during the day. I recommend night or early morning visits as it is less crowded and therefor more relaxing.
A lovely old fashioned toy store with good quality toys and good service. Things I have bought here have been popular with the kids and lasted well.
I went here for the first time recently and it is a great supermarket. The layout is good and it is a large coles with good stock. Coles in general has reduced stock lines and now have more of their own brands which I don't like however.
This place is great for an early bite to eat before going across the road for a movie at the nova. Later on at night it gets really busy and quite noisy. The food is pretty good - not fantastic but reliably good.
I love Brunetti's - There's a reason this place is a melbourne institution! The cake displays are fantastic, so much variety. I love that they have the tiny little cakes so you can taste a few instead of getting one big one. I do feel that it isn't as good as it was 10 years ago and now that it has several outlets across the city it doesn't feel like a special thing to do, but the cakes are still great!
This place is super cheap and has quality produce. It can get pretty busy on a Saturday morning. There is easy parking above the market and it is across the road from Footscray Station.
A fantastic Market. The produce is amazing and you can get everything you need here. Fantastic Deli's - I always go here to save money (which I do on meat and fruit and veg) but then I spend it in the awesome deli's!
