Came here with my partner on the weekend for Yum Cha.. Service was appalling.. We had to ask for sauce 3 times before it came. We asked for the the menu to order food because the food trolley took ages to come around. First staff said they didn't have a menu. There was only one helpful staff there that I had to give credit for.
The food was average at best. They didn't even have congee which was one of the basics dishes.
Will definitely not be going there again.

I came here with my partner on the weekend to order some food for dinner. I was expecting a Chinese menu obviously because of the name of the shop. Instead they had Pad Thai (Thai food), Beef Rendang (Malaysian), stir fried veggies(Chinese/Veitnamese) and Indian curries.
I was quite surprised and taken back but still wanted to give this place a try since we're already here.
I order a Pad Thai, my partner order stir fry chicken with cashews.
When we got back home we weren't impress. My Pad Thai was pretty much noodle plus oil, I only manage to have 3 bites before chucking the whole thing away. My partner was a little more fortunate. His one had no flavour therefore we added some extra salt and pepper from home.
All in all we wouldn't go going there again.
The staff there was friendly. It was a quiet afternoon so they had the time to sit around and talk to us. Parking was easy but that's as far as the positives go.

This is defiantly one of the better burger I have tasted.
I have never been to the shop myself. My partner would always bring home dinner if we couldn't decided what to cook at home.
That day he brought home the beef burger with bacon and a cheese burger. The cheese burger tasted like the ones from HJ just more gourmet. Beef burger was to die for. It was a pity it was a bit cold when it got home but it still tasted amazing.
One of my top favourite burger places in Adelaide so far.

It was my first time at Victor Harbour and I happen to walk pass this fish and chips shop who claims to be the second best fish and chips shop in South Australia.
Hey!!! Such a big claim need to be put to the test. I went inside and order. The fish was cheap it was only $6 for a piece. After we got our order we went to the harbour and sat there to enjoy our meal. It was indeed one of the best fish and chips I have ever eaten.
If the second best fish and chips is this place, I truly wonder who the first is. If anyone knows please let me know.
Highly recommended if you're in the area. :)

I absolutely love this place. Ever since I discover that they had the best eggs benedict in Adelaide I have been going there religiously for a couple of weeks. Their hollandaise sauce is creamy and but its not sour like some of the other ones I have tasted.
My bf always orders the non fat bagel with poached eggs and a hollandaise sauce on the side. When our meal comes I pass him some of my smoked salmon. So pretty much we're eating the same thing but paying only 3/4 of the price.
I love sitting at the back of the cafe because its quiet compared to the front. There also a bunny you can pet which is located next to the toilet at the back.
Staff there are friendly, its situated right next to the beach. What more could you want :)

Came here with 2 new friends of mine over the weekend. We all wanted to find a pub with both food and drinks however most kitchen closes at 2.30pm and we got there just at 3pm.

The service here was great. We spoke to the waiter who advised us that the kitchen has just closed and that they only had finger food. After a few minutes of flirting and negotiating between my friend and him he told us that he was able to make us some burgers. So this was great start to the afternoon.
Burger was $18 each, pretty pricey right? I then order myself a drink, 2 shots of Chivas which was $30, again very expensive!!!!!!
The atmostphere was good, we sat outside on the balcony overlooking the people walk below. It was a quiet afternoon not too busy or noisy at all.
Burgers came. Mine was overcooked and dry, no sauce whatsoever. My friend's one came with too much sauce, so much that she couldn't even hold it eating. I had a few bites and left it at that. My friend was hungry and so finished the whole thing.
I had a minor stomach ache that night however when I spoke to my friend the next day she told me that she had food poisoning.
Not going there again EVER.
The staff was nice I have to give credit for that, he was very attentive in cleaning up the area to ensure that new customer can come and sit comfortably... But that it!!!!

My partner told me this was one of his top 10 favourites in Adelaide so I just had to try this place out.
When we got there he order for me so I just sat at my table waiting for the food to arrive. There was parking right outside, there indoor and outdoor seating, old movie posters on the wall so the atmosphere was very welcoming. Especially on a bright sunny day :)
When the food arrived my partner told me he order me "the chuck" with extra provolone cheese and for himself the "Black and Blue".
Chip came first so we snacked on those. SALTIEST CHIP EVER. One chip one drink of water. It was nice little shoe string chips and they were cooked until crunchy. SOOOOOO disappointed on how salty it was.
The burger shortly arrived and after the first bite I had no appetite for the second. The bun was brioche so that was nice, but the patty was over cook hence dry. The cheese flowed everywhere and so ruined the presentation. There was no sauce on the burger so I had to use the tomato that came with the chip. This just wasn't my burger at all.
I had a bite of my partner burger but I didn't like it either because it had blue cheese. That's just my personal preference though. My partner did say that his burger was cooked well, not too dry and that the blue cheese combo make it taste fantastic.
I pretty much just ate the top bun of my burger and my partner finish the rest. I guess I am a little more picky on my food but its because I know what I like. Fingers cross the next burger place would live up to my stands :)

Went there over a week ago to try out their burgers.
Since I am going through a burger faze my partner bringing me to all the burger places he think is good.
My partner absolutely loves this place. He always compliment there sauce. I cant' say that I feel the same though.
When I had the first bite of my burger it was tasty and definitely did rank as one of my top 10 favourite places. However when I bit towards the middle of the patty I realised it was still red. I got my partner to speak to the staff there and they advised me that this was normal and that they had cook the patty medium rare. I was surprised because in Sydney all my burger patties are cooked until done. No medium and definitely not medium rare's.
The staff was happy to take the burger back and give me another one but I just said it was okay and continue eating. I had a couple more bites and gave the rest of the burger to my partner who happily finished it.
Guess he was happy about it. As for me I don't think this would be one of my first preferences.
