Colin, Tash and Juliet have gone above and beyond for us and we're so grateful for them. We purchased a renovated property and wanted to get an inspection done within the cooling off period (this approach was recommended by the real estate agent so we could make a strong unconditional offer - we figured the risks were low anyway as it was recently renovated). Hamley Home Inspections were able to accommodate us and the inspection was booked.

Things took a turn when the real estate agents wanted to move our appointment to another day after the cooling off period (due to conflicts in their scheduling) but were unable (or unwilling) to find another time within the cooling off period. Tash and Colin warned us about the red flags as it's uncommon to face such difficulties to access a property for an inspection.

Instead of simply rescheduling the appointment, Tash stood by us and affirmed our right to have an inspection done within the cooling off period, and Hamley was willing to move things around in their schedule to make it work. It was a very stressful period for us but we felt supported by Tash and Colin throughout.

When the appointment was finally rescheduled
(after a lot of back and forth with the agent) to the arvo (at the last day of the cooling off period), the property was inspected very thoroughly. Juliet even gave us a call after to provide verbal feedback so we can decide whether to proceed with the purchase, seeing as it was already the last day of the cooling off period and the report wouldn't be ready in time.

The report was very detailed and clear, and we got it later that evening in such a quick turnaround. This is a testament to the high quality work and professionalism of the team, and they were very communicative and supportive throughout.
