This great cafe is situation in a fairly surprising location - and the food was equally surprising when I visited there in December 2011. The burger with the works was fantastic - everything that you would expect from your local, and a big serving also. Staff were very friendly and the claim of 'best coffee in Fyshwick' was well justified! Will be going back to this cafe with my family in 2012!

This is by far our favourite restaurant - it is always a memorable experience, with consistently brilliant service and even better food. The combos are great value and all meals that we have had have been first class - have always been disappointed when we try to find a comparable Mexican restaurant between Brisbane and Canberra! We always drop in when we have a chance! Love you Mucho's!

Whenever I am in Newy, I can't help but go to Ghanda's for what I believe to be the best Indian in town. We love the Saag Gosht (lamb spinach curry) - it is pretty much unbeatable, so much so that it is my benchmark for other Indian restaurants that I have tried since! All of the food we have tasted is high quality - even when it has been takeaway. The service is excellent - plenty of character and despite the building itself, they have made it feel like a really pleasant place to have a romantic meal.

A couple of work colleagues and I came across Sensational Thai - an interesting name, but it did meet expectations! This place doesn't stand out and looks just like one of the local houses, which made for an interesting experience, going from room to room finding a place to sit down! The food was really very good - I can recommend the red curry with chicken - very aromatic and a generous serving. The staff were punctual and overall we had a great time - when I am next visiting Penrith, I will certainly go back to Sensational Thai!

For breakfast, this place was amazing - wonderful service provided in a friendly, warm atmosphere. We couldn't believe that there were only a few others there! We had the thyme and garlic field mushrooms and ciabatta with goats cheese, bacon, avocado and tomato - must say that the freshness and quality of the produce was evident - even my son was eating the tomatoes! We will become regulars at this restaurant!

Overall, we had a good experience at Ole Restaurant - it took the staff a while to seat us, despite there being plenty of tables available. White sangria was very refreshing and easy to drink, tapas that we selected were mostly deep fried (though not specified in the menu in most cases) - perhaps we could have asked for more information on ordering....but anyway, each meal tasted quite good - the potato skins with aioli was very nice, chilli sauce with chickpea fritters was hot but good, however the whitebait was a little salty. Not sure just how authentic these dishes were, but we will probably go back for another shot of these tapas!

We went to Little Nonya Singapore without any notice and to the staff's credit, they fitted us in (party of six including two children under three) with little fuss, despite it being a super busy night. The food was certainly different - quite heavy, but pleasant all round. Because we just turned up, we only had a limited time before we needed to move on - but understandable considering the lack of notice we provided them. Fit out of the restaurant was impressive - very good ambience with great lighting.

Despite some average service from time to time, this is one of my favourite restaurants - it really feels like you are at Clarke Quay or Little India in Singapore when you eat here (particularly in Summer!). Really well priced meals that are generous in size and well executed in the wok! Won't hesitate to keep on going back to this restaurant.

This place was fantastic and in my opinion, has better service, ambience and better food than its sister-restaurants in Sunnybank and Eight Mile Plains. Unbelievable value for the meals (very satisfying and generous sized meals)- and very accommodating service for a group of ten of us that rocked up not long before closing time!! Thanks to the Little Singapore crew for a great meal - will bring my family here for sure!

Having recently moved to Canberra, we thought we'd check out the best local Thai restaurants nearby, and Ayutthaya appeared the best based on local reviews. We were sorely disappointed by our experience with this restaurant, the food was bland, with the Penang Curry particularly inadequate - in one full meal, there were about four small pieces of meat - hardly value for a $15 approx meal. Will not be going there again!
