I've been here twice for brunch and my second time was a stand-out for all the wrong reasons.
We had originally asked for a table outside when booking and they had sat us inside (eventually moved us outside when we asked.)
The waitress that served us was rude and made all of our party feel uncomfortable. Our meals came out in a reasonable time but were nothing special. I had the scrambled eggs with fetta, lemon and avocado which was nice but one side of the toast was horrendously burnt.
Would maybe go there for dinner and see if it is any different but never again for breakfast.
Great place to go for drinks after work - only complaint would be that it would be great if you could have food out in the smoking area.
Cheap prices and amazing entertainment every week!
I've been to the Sandy Bay Burger Got Soul and it would be my favourite burger place.
Prices can be a bit steep but then you see the size of the burgers with amazing ingredients (an actual piece of chicken) and you feel better. Also the chips are massive - I recommend one between two or three! The dipping sauces are delicious as well.

My favourite place to stop off and get some fresh sushi. Prices are similar to other places but I prefer here as you can see the sushi being made.
They also offer a range of hot meals and my personal favourite is the Chicken Chow Mein - had it to take away numerous times. There is seating available but it's not the most atmospheric restaurant.

I've been to Kawasemi twice so far and both times for lunch. It is amazing. Both times I ordered the steamed salmon and it was delicious. Massive servings at very affordable prices. Hidden in Dickenson's Arcade, it is a little hard to realise that it's a restaurant.
As I went at lunch time, service was excellent as there were only one or two tables. They do take away meals as well and I hear the Bento Boxes are the way to go!

I love popping into this store and trying the many products that B&B have to offer! My Mother loves the face cream so I always buy her a tub whilst my favourite product is the shampoo bar! Prices are acceptable for the high quality products used and the staff are always very friendly and helpful!
This is absolutely my favourite bookstore. Books are stacked in every inch of the shop and there is a large range of books covering all topics. There are lots of specialised second hand books and also a ton of cds/dvds.
Prices are very cheap, most books are under $15.
This little bookshop tucked away in Salamanca Square is a favourite place to visit on a Sunday morning after brunch! They have a huge range and some unique specialised books. Lots of books on Tasmania which is great for visitors.
Staff are friendly and helpful and prices are resonable.
One of my favourite places to buy books. Have a large range at very cheap prices. Shipping takes around 2 weeks to get to Aus from the UK. If they don't have the book in stock you are welcome to order it and wait for it to come back in stock or they suggest other places to purchase the item from.
They also offer free worldwide postage! Bonus!
One of my favourite used bookstores! A wide range of books from fiction to rare books and all are reasonably priced! Also able to purchase gift vouchers which make a great gift for a book lover like me. The business also buys books.
