Tried to get a refund for clothing quality not up to standard - snapped at by both sales assistant and marketing manager, told that their policy was no refund, store credit only, and it was clearly marked on the sales docket (which was put in bag with goods) - I was not todl this when I purchased the goods and the sales assistant, who made it clear that she was busy with other things, knew I was hesitant about the goods did not bother to inform me either. I sent an email into the company, received no response, so sent another one telling them how rude and unaccommodating they are. If these people want to stay in business, they need to start selling quality clothes instead of the badly made items made of rubbish material. The credit not eventually issued is clearly marked that it is good for only 12 months and if you lose it you have no recourse! Time these businesses got with the times and looked after customers instead of alienating them. I attempted to return the goods within 3 days - and then attempted to contact the comp[any. Rude salesperson, rude company!

Too expensive, as soon as you join and pay your money you are told you have to buy "stamps" at around $15 each if you want to make contact. When I complained about this, I was told to take it up with Mr Murdoch! Next to no communication between members, very disappointing!

So you sign up, pay your money, then they send you a daily list of what that have found for you. Great, except for the fact that the longer you are on, the more they keep sending you profiles on a daily basis of men/women who are not full members - so you can send them messages but they cannot respond, unless they fancy you so much that they decide to rejoin on the chance that you might be great for each other - in other words you are doing their marketing and advertising for them. Day after day, same profiles, same gimmicks. And if you are a member, make sure that you keep an eye on your expiry date and cancel your sub, or they will cheerfully refuse to refund your money - as in any of the sites. They are very hard to contact, and if you get anything more than an automated response if you have a concern then you will be lucky. Repetetive marketing, poor contact, and use you to advertise for them. Lousy site.

I am 68 years old, my husband of 30 years has dementia and has been in care since the February this year. As I am on my own I decided to try on of the better rated Dating sites.
I joined RSVP on Saturday at a cost of $79.95 and as soon as I joined and my photo was approved, I was sent a list of eligible men. When I looked I was told I had "free stamps to send a "kiss". Then a page came up with "buy stamps to contact your match" special for that day only was an additional cost of $39.95 for 3 stamps 1 stamp per person you wanted to contact – nothing mentioned about this prior to joining - of course the rate went up from there. I had difficulty accessing anything on the site, and when I saw someone I thought might be compatible when I I was looking at his profile, I hit what I thought was send a "free" kiss - the dot was on the "no thanks" and as I hate to offend anyone immediately purchased the stamps to rectify this.
I have asked them for a refund, and they are unwilling to help, state there is nowhere in their terms and conditions that allow for a cooling off period, indeed disclaim that they use their methods to "woo" women like myself onto their site and then hit them with unexpected charges - like an extra $10 to contact someone you would like to talk to - the men wait for the messages, and it was left up to me to send anything else on - at my cost. These sites are no better than the leeches who set up an account under someone else's name and woo someone, then try to scam them - I shall be taking this to Consumer Affairs as well as some of the online review agencies to give them bad feedback

I have been a customer with this Internet provider for 3 years, am out of contract, and because I was sick of the bad service, and the internet slowing down to a crawl on school holidays, Friday afternoons and weekends, looked around for a better service. Verbally signed a contract with Telstra who offered a better bundled deal, and advised TPG that I was leaving - "Oh sorry to lose a good customer, anything we can help with?" Too little, too late! Thats when the fun began. Nothing in writing to tell you that you have to give them 30 days notice, they take your money, and then will not cut you off for the 30 days, then advise it will take 3-5 working days (it is always 5) to remove their codes from the line so your new provider can link you up. Unless these codes are removed, nothing can be done, and they dig their toes in, the more fuss you make, the longer they take. I made noises about all this, as it was not explained to me, and I did not understand, so they simply cut me off the net and then told me I had to wait 3-5 Business days for them to act. That was over a week ago. Were it not for Telstra being so obliging and helping me with a "doggle" to keep me on the net, I would still have no internet, and do not know how much longer it is going to take. Terrible Tech service, terrible company to deal with.
TPG - the most unaccommodating, unhelpful mob I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Make sure if you sign up with them that you know all their terms and conditions, because even though they do not advise you of their terms, they are hard and fast on sticking to them.

TPG not so bad as long as you do not want tech support, do not mind slow speeds on weekends etc, or TRY TO LEAVE them, then prepare yourself for the worst, most frustrating ride you could ever experience - the big dipper has nothing on this, the most unfriendly, unaccommodating, unhelpful mob you could ever wish to come across - take your money, cut you off the net and could not give a damn! Read the fine print - if they are so good as to supply you with it! Require 30 days PREPAID written notice, despite you have signed somewhere else you got a better deal with, condescending staff (and so many of them, never the same one twice) then "3-5 business days" to hand over their codes to your new carrier, leaving you with no internet and - who gives a damn -not us, we are not getting any more money out of you! Beware TPG, biggest load of crooks I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
