Sydney Pet Resort

My puppies stayed for the first time over the last weekend, and the staff told me they thoroughly enjoyed themselves! They had lots of fun with the staff and other pups and I was able to see pictures of them on Facebook regularly.

The resort was very clean, large and very comfortable - the staff were friendly and accomodating, professionally dressed and lovely to talk to. They put me at ease from the first moment I walked in the door.

I was able to book very easily, and amend the booking as needed. I was also able to add an extra day/night at the last minute due to an emergency and even had my puppies brought home by shuttle as I could not pick them up, again at short notice.
The online booking system is wonderful and easy to use, allowing for any changes, notes or services to be added and even for ease of payment. I was able to upload information, pictures, vet and vaccination information and so much more. It was very convenient and fast and everything was there at my fingertips, if I needed to access it.

The overall experience was easy, professional and enjoyable. The staff contacted me via email and sms as needed, and responded very quickly to my requests.

I felt very secure leaving my dogs there, knowing they were going to be very well looked after. I was even able to book additional services such as Bath/grooming, which is very handy.

My pups came home thoroughly exhausted from all the fun they had! I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for pet boarding, whether short or long term.

We take our dogs regularly to Sydney Pet resort and have always been impressed! This week they have been amazingly supportive- they took our dogs in at no cost to us while we have been dealing with our home in Windsor flooding. One less worry for us during a very stressful time. Thanks so much!

The Sydney Pet resort has always taken excellent care of both our cat and dog every time we go away. I couldn't recommend the team their more highly, they take care of them as if they were their own. The shuttle service for pick up and drop off is also a huge advantage if you live in the inner city. Thank you always.

I live in Colo and am a volunteer firefighter. my family had evacuated from the 180,000 hectare gospers mountain bushfire and while I was working 12 hour shifts on the fire ground my biggest stress was knowing my dog was at home alone unprotected. Sydney Pet Resort were very very understanding and offered to look after him so I could continue to drive that red truck. he stayed there for 5 days and I am extremely gratefull for their generosity. When I picked him up, he was so excited, happy and had been washed. thank you so much for making a stressful time less stressful!

My boys (fur babies) are my family so of course I was anxious leaving them somewhere while I galavanted on a holiday. When I visited the facility, the staff were professional, welcoming, could answer all my questions and quelled any fears that had remained. I loved that there were different options of boarding and extras and the best thing? They could run FREE!!
The set up is fantastic and show how well the staff/owners know about pets, behaviour and care. You can see they care about their charges and receiving updates and pics while I was away was a Godsend! The boys were healthy and sooo happy, I should book another holiday!

I highly recommend Sydney Pet Resort, the facilities are outstanding, the staff are friendly & professional & they provide a wonderful service which I can rely on when I go away.

Lack of communication internally and externally.
Lied to my face when asked questions.
My dog got kennel cough while there.When I picked up my dog after 3 days of boarding, she was sick! She was throwing up and had diarrhea. I had to take her to the vet.
Been ripped off with additional charges.
Her blanked got replaced and I was promised that it will be returned to me. After 5 days, they never even bothered to call me to get this sorted. I had to ring them.
If you love your dog, please dont take them there. You will highly regret it.

As a dog parent, I would like to share my unfortunate experience at Sydney Pet Resort. My dog Lola was boarding there during holidays and when we brought her home we noticed that she has multiple wounds in all of her legs. I immediately contacted the staff and I was told that during a play time she was bitten by another dog; apparently, they were playing rough and the game turned into a fight. We all know that accidents can happen but this are my concerns: 1) the staff should break any rough game before it turns into a fight, dog safety should come first, 2) There was a lack of transparency since the incident was never brought to our attention at any 3) she has so many different wounds in her legs that is hard to believe that all this happen in a single incident, maybe she was attacked during the night, when she was sharing rooms without supervision. On top of that, they didn't feed her correctly, they gave her food outside of her diet without knowing that she is an allergic dog under a restricted diet. I am extremely disappointed on how Sydney Pet Resort treated my dog and very sad to think that Lola was under those conditions for almost a month.

Just remember there is always risks when boarding your dog with others. After feeling quite upset Staff did try to resolve this with me and I believe they acted appropriately

My wife and I never thought we could trust anyone to look after our rotty Udie. After meeting the staff at Sydney Pet Resort and seeing the way they interact with the dogs, we decided to take the holiday we never thought we could have. The many photo and video updates of Udie on their Facebook page made us feel like we weren't so far away, and reassured us that he was having a wonderful time. I have a border collie - Buddy who is used to being able to roam free with me all day. He loves the open spaces and being able to be with other dogs. I feel totally comfortable with the way he is looked after, he and I just love it

My Husband and I have two elderly small dogs that need a little more love and attention in their old age. The team at the Sydney Pet Resort are truly amazing. They know everything about them and find time to give them that little extra attention. We are updated should there be anything out of the ordinary during their stay and we are always welcomed for any length of stay. The boys love their time away on their holiday and my husband and are completely comfortable leaving the boys with very professional and most importantly caring team of staff at Sydney Pet Resort. We can't recommend them enough.

We own a 6 year old rotty who has absolutely loved every visit at the Sydney Pet resort. The fact that she is able to roam free her entire stay is so important to us, as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. It's always a real little holiday for her at the Sydney Pet resort, which makes us feel so at ease when we leave her there. I can not recommend this place more! My dogs want to go there! For me that said it all. Bella tries to climb out the car window in her excitement and Bear doesn't stop to say goodbye! I've been really pleased with the service we have received from the team at Sydney Pet Resort, including photos of the fluff balls while I'm away, and baths before they come home. They have always come home with big doggy smiles, and I can see that they are happy. :)

We are huge fans of Sydney Pet Resort and have used their services multiple times over the past few years.
We have a high energy fox terrier who is not suited to being caged up much of the day so were ecstatic to find SPR and learn that the dogs are free to run around ALL day and at no time are they caged.
Monique and her team are very passionate about dogs, and send through regular updates while our dog is with them which we love for peace of mind.

I am so glad that we found Sydney Pet Resort and since then everytime we go away for a holiday, we do not need to worry about our beagle and also it makes us easier to plan for a holiday as we know that our beagle will be taken care well in SPR with Monique, Tony, and all the staffs.
SPR is not just a dog boarding, as they really keep an eye on your dogs. There was one time that my beagle was sick during his stay (because the exist wound on his neck...NOT from his staying at SPR) and the staff noticed it just so quick and brought my beagle to vet. We really appreciate their hard work and supervising - their effort to go back and forth to the vet - and to keep us informed.
Moreover it's NOT a kennel boarding, your dogs will have a blast and great time in their SUPER large back yard with other dogs with organized supervision from the staffs and a TLC too....:)
(sometimes I am wondering if my Beagle has better holiday than us ??)

We had a new dog in 2012 and for the first time needed to have her looked after while we were away for two months. I got on-line and was even more confused. We had had experience with a dog trainer so I rang him to ask where he might recommend. Thank goodness I did because he recommended Monique and her "Resort". We went up to have a look and were very impressed with what we saw. Trixie has been back there on another two occasions, once for 4 weeks and then for 6 weeks. As soon as I book our holiday we contact Monique to make a booking. Owners get photos/movies sent to their email while they are away. We live in a retirement village at Winston Hills and get asked where we send our dog when we're away and we're always quick to recommend Monique and her team. Trixie is happy to be there (even though she knows we are going away) and we are happy to know she is safe and well looked after. The other reviewers describe the resort perfectly, so I'm not going to go into too much detail.

We have used Sydney Pet Resort for numerous daycare and long term stays since the beginning of 2012. After viewing a few places which had the dogs kept in tiny 4 walls and concrete floor kennels with no where to play for 80% of their stay, there was no way we would let our dog stay anywhere else. It is a true 'resort' for the animals. At no time is Izzy kept in a cage. She has free run of a huge paddock with dogs her own size and at night she gets to cuddle up with them securely inside. The staff are amazing and as a new dog owner, have always been helpful, friendly and passing on advice and knowledge. I only wish that there were more places available for animals to be looked after in this environment.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Sydney Pet Resort for the first class care my dogs receive.I have just picked my two dogs up after their 14 night stay during the extremely hot weather Sydney experienced while we were away. It was comforting to receive a picture of the dogs during their stay relaxing in their kiddies pool. They honestly looked like they were just missing sunnies and a cocktail!
I have a Golden retreiver with LOTS of energy, and a 17 year old terrier who needs lots of rest. The staff at Sydney Pet Resort were more than happy to cater for the different needs of my dogs, while still giving them time together.

The first stay the dogs had at Sydney Pet Resort was in winter. To say I was nervous about leaving my babies is an understatement. We were only a few hours into our trip when I received a video of both dogs running around and socialising with other doggy holidayers. I was so releived and could immediatley start enjoying myself, knowing they weren't upset or missing me! It was also comforting knowing they slept indoors so i knew they wouldn't be cold.

It was also a lovely surprise when I picked them up and they were beautifully bathed and brushed. They smelt delicious!

So thanks again to all the staff and Management at Sydney Pet Resort. We will be seeing you all again soon :)

I had never left my beloved Groodle overnight with anyone other than a trusted friend or family member. A pre-booked holiday was approaching fast and our 'usual' sitters were all busy or away themselves.
We contacted the Sydney Pet Resort and received a prompt response from Monique who sounded professional, polite and genuinely interested in our business and our darling pooch, Buddy.
After several emails back and forth, we decided that this was for us!
It was a nervous trip from Western Sydney to Dural, and the anxiety was apparent.. My anxiety that is!
As soon as i arrived at the Sydney Pet resort my heart was at ease and i knew this was exactly what i was after.
Monique immediately took to our pooch- as if they were long lost friends having familiar catch up.
The communication is superb, and Monique ensures that you are up to date with photos and videos emailed regularly.
Our pooch is a long hair breed whom we pride ourselves on our attention to grooming. He was returned to us even more beautiful than when we dropped him off.
The irony is the daily rate for boarding is cheaper than the cost of a professional wash!
The Sydney Pet resort is a brilliant place and we are now able to plan regular stays away knowing our pooch is in the best hands possible... apart from ours!

What an amazing boarding facility, there are no cages or pens, there are beautiful safely fenced yards where our dog played & relaxed all day then was brought inside over night to sleep. There's no way we would leave our beloved boy in a kennel & Sydney Pet Resort provided a great alternative. The staff are really genuine, caring animal lovers & we felt very comfortable leaving him there. We loved how they sent us free videos to my iPhone so we could see how much fun he was having. They are very well priced and don't have any surcharges or additional fees. He was so fluffy & clean & smelt lovely when we picked him up. We highly recommend Sydney Pet Resort!
