Sarah was fantastic, I booked in last minute with no problem... I wanted a new style and for half of head of foils, blow wave and cut I couldn't be happier with the end product and the price - mt eliza is rather costly.... I also booked in the next day to get it cut shorter and she did it for me for free... will be back!!

After having really bad service at another hairdressers. It was such a pleasure find this salon in Mount Eliza. Great welcome, really good customer service and a fab hair cut that i'm really happy with. I would definitely recommend this salon for those looking for a good hairdressers.

I had previously seen Claire to have my hair done in April 2014, and had it done again in October 2014, I have been trying to fix my hair ever since! Unfortunately she just did not do a good job the second time even though she is so lovely, I won't be returning

Claire is the best hairdresser/stylist in Mt. Eliza. I recently had my hair cut, styled and coloured by Claire. She is definitely fantastic. She is well-versed with the latest hair styles and trends. She considers how I want my hair done yet she still incorporates what she knows will match my features best. I love my hair and that's all because of Claire!

Stu is incredible at what he does, I absolutely loved my hair when he coloured it. I gave him a brief outline and left it up to him and it was so natural and he also used a lot of my natural colour mixed in with the blonde foils which allowed me to get a lot of time out of my colour and you couldn't notice the regrowth. I had sooooo many comments on my hair!

I have been going to Claire for over a year now, she is fantastic not to mention a gorgeous personality.

Sarah Doyle Hair by Design is THE place to go for blondes! Sarah Doyle is a secret that you need to be let in on - I live in Melbourne City and have visited some of the most prestigious, well known, 'hairdressers to celebrities' style salons in the inner city, but have never found a colourist who knows what they are doing with blonde the way Sarah Armstrong does! These girls are the 'Ombre/Balayage' experts and well worth the trip down to the cute little village of Mt Eliza to have your tresses tended to. I was a little nervous visiting a new salon for the first time, having just experienced a 'colour disaster' from a confused colourist who did not at all understand the look I was asking for but after a few minutes with Sarah Armstrong, I was sure I was in good hands, and sure enough she expertly corrected my awful colour and was a painstaking perfectionist in making sure it was 'exactly' right and I did not feel that she was in a rush even though she had an absolutely full salon. I came out feeling confident with the perfect blonde! Sarah expertly foiled my hair so that it looked like my natural colour on top, with beautiful shimmering, subtle blonde foils making it looked completely sun kissed, with no awful 'regrowth' roots! My colour lasted me six months, and still looked in great condition when I came back for my next appointment for a touch up. I cannot recommend this salon enough, especially if you are blonde but need someone to give you a 'natural' look. Thank you Sarah A and your wonderful team for your friendly professionalism! There customer service is immaculant, there salon is beautiful and so are their employers. I initially came across this Salon on Instagram and was instantly amazed at the work they do, in particular the beautiful clean blonde colour they achieve. Stewart has been doing my hair for approximately a year now which he has never disappointed. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. Always takes the time to listen to your request to ensure you get the outcome you want. I've also utilised the great advice that Stewart has given me to care for my blonde hair - and I can honestly say its never been healthier. Great staff, great environment and and great hair!

Absolutely LOVE this salon. They are all so courteous and lovely to speak to, so the whole experience is wonderful from when you first walk in. Claire is who colours and cuts my hair and I cannot recommend her enough!

Been going to Sarah Doyle Hair By Design for the last 1.5 years and have always been well looked after with maintaining my blonde hair. I've recommended several friends to this salon and they have all loved it as much as I have. Sarah and Stewart have consistently looked after my hair over the past year and not only are sensational colorists and stylists, but also lovely people and friends to chat to! Best hair salon in the Mornington Peninsula!

I've been to this salon twice now and had my hair done by Claire! I am in the process of lightening my hair from black to a blonde by using full head of foils and am absolutely thrilled with the progress. Both Claire and staff are so welcoming and are all so fantastic with what they can achieve, they can achieve literally anything!

I had my hair done by Claire - she is amazing! I found her on instagram and love her work! I have really dark hair and wanted to go ombre but wasn't sure how it would turn out. So I showed Claire several photos of ombre hair that I liked and she told me what would look best, and the end result was so amazing! I absolutely love my ombre, and so many people have complimented me in the past couple of weeks since I got it done! Every time someone asks me where I got my hair done, I recommend Claire to them! :)
I'm going to keep going to Claire from now on, even though I only get my hair cut/coloured a couple of times a year, its good to know I'll be getting quality work done.

Just switched over to this salon and couldn't be happier with my decision, they are very patient with indecisive clients like me! Claire is an amazing colorist, I recently went lighter and my hair is in amazing condition. They are very honest and will tell you what's best for your hair so you can get the best value for your money. I have been going to my hair dresser Claire for about 3 years and cannot recommend her enough! I am constantly getting compliments from anybody and everybody on how fabulous my hair looks. She does an amazing job and my hair is in excellent condition always healthy and vibrant. After previous years of hairdressers ruining my hair and giving me stripy foils, I've never been so happy and excited to go get my hair done.

Most splendid hair salon I have ever been too! Their clients become their friends, they care for, and tend to all of their wishes! They inform you on the colour and style of your hair, and cater to your needs! The quality is impeccable and I have loved my hair every single time I have walked out of that salon! Trust me, it is worth going to! I trek around 1hour to get there, each way! Claire is marvellous!

Definitely the best hair salon I have visited! Everyone is lovely and they all do an amazing job. My hairdresser is Claire, she is 100% the best, absolutly amazing at what she does and I always leave estatic with my hair. When I started coming to Claire my hair was in shocking conditions and since going to her I have not had any damage or breakage to my hair and it's in perfect condition. Claire is such an amazing hairdresser that I travel from Hawthorn to Mt.Eliza and back whenever I need my hair done. I have been going to her for around 1-2 years and this entire time I was living in Melbourne (and went to SD's on a recommendation). I went to all the best salons in Melbourne including Oscar Oscar, Edward Beale, Rokk Ebony etc but Claire has been the hairdresser I have stayed with! I have long, thick (dyed) blonde hair and Claire makes sure that my hair is always healthy and tells me when she thinks something won't work, or how to get to a look if it can be done in one session. My sister who had never had her hair dyed before trusted Claire to balyage hers as she always saw how happy I was with my hair and how well Claire did it. My sister was really happy and now is also a returning client! Claire is really lovely and you always feel super comfortable with her.

Claire is quite possibly one of the best hairdressers out there. I was unsure of what I wanted to achieve when I had my hair coloured, but she was able to guide me through and I trusted her to make the right decision. She is so lovely and is very professional. My hair came out looking better than ever and I had so many compliments about it, it has lasted more than 3 months as she left much of my natural colour still there. The whole experience was wonderful!
