The technician, Adam attended to our problem and was very good and solved the problem quickly. However, when I phoned the office several days later to get a description of the fault and how to prevent it happening again, I was met with Sheree who said "I don't have your name listed on here so I would have to speak to the customer". Then I explained that it was my wife who asked for the service and is an intensive care doctor and is busy working long hours until late at night and that I handle these things. I asked to speak to the boss but she would not let me - she said he was away until Tuesday (4 days later). She said that she was the boss "today". This is a case of the receptionist wielding power for the sake of wielding power. This is one way for a business to lose clientele due to a recalcitrant low-level employee. This was not secret military or personal information - it was about an air conditioner fault for goodness' sake. Sigh... So Proactive Air Conditioning may well be a good company (I suspect it is) but it's a pity this happened. Beware of receptionists who want to wield power.
