great mechanics that won't rip you off I've been going there for years

I have been using these guy's for over three years now and last week I had a full 85000 service done. As usual there approach, attention to detail and communication with me regarding replacement parts that were required was exemplary. Highly recommend their business.

I was extremely pleased to find that GS Mechanical were able to service my beloved VW golf, as they are close to my home. And I was very happy with the servicing which was completed by 3pm even though it was a major job. The staff are professional, up front and honest about the needs of your car whilst not trying to "upsize" you to have other things done (which has been my experience once or twice in the past). And they cleaned my wheels which were looking a bit dirty! So I would highly recommend them for anyone needing good service and support.

These guys are fantastic! I've been looking for a good mechanic since I moved to Newcastle five years ago and I've finally found one! Very reasonably priced and they don't pressure you to get further work done like lots of other mechanics who I could swear invent problems with your car to get more out of you. I love how it's so hassle free getting my car serviced at G & S Mechanical. I just drop my car off, get a lift to work, pay for my service over the phone by credit card, then my car is dropped back to me at work, clean and smelling great! All of the staff are a pleasure to speak to and very professional. I can't recommend G&S Mechanical highly enough!
I have been looking for a new mechanic because my last one overcharged me and didn't fix things properly or have them done on time. This was my first experience with these guys and I am impressed! I dropped my car in for a service and it was ready within 3 hours, and it was cleaned both inside and out. They even had my teddy bear that sits in my car strapped into the passenger seat. It's simple things like these that make me want to get everyone to go here! I will definitely be back, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I thought these guys were brilliant I found them on womo for having alot of five star feedback. I went rang up for pink slip lady on phone said come in now if wanted sure why not, went in just about same time I went to reception to show rego papers car was already in there get worked on sat down chatted then off on my way with pink slip . My car was serviced while I drank coffee & worked on my laptop from a cafe (where I was dropped and picked up from!)
Not only did they wash, vacuum and scent my car, but the guys noticed my spare tire had a puncture which they repaired then swapped the tire with another on the car. AND I get free 6 months roadside.
Premium service for the same fee as my old mechanic!

Service included a car wash and on road assist for 6 months and as a lyoness merchant I also got cash back.

An easily accessible business. Friendly office staff and the owner was prepared to give the time and talk to his customers. He contacted me to advise of cost before carrying out repairs.

Wow I found these guys from a sign on the road advertising free air conditioning quotes. (Mine had completely stopped working) Came in much more reasonable than the two other quotes i'd had and Glen ended up fixing the air cond back to working order and no troubles since. I just booked in and had my first car service with them. Car feels good and happy with routine service but the most amazing part of the overall service was that the car came back cleaned spectacularly inside and out, I was given free 6mths roadside assistance, free fuel tank flushing liquid PLUS on top of all of that I was dropped off and picked up from a local play centre so my toddler and I could hang out for a few hours whilst being serviced. That was completely the extra piece that keeps me going back as I don't have to arrange pickups etc as we live about 30mins away. Thanks so much Glen, my car feels (and smells like new!)and thank you to Natahlia, their assistant for being so so lovely to deal with.
5 Star , where else do they pick your vehicle up within 5 ks , or drop you off where you want? , where else can you book online and if your vehicle is in by 8.00am its done by lunch ?. Where else do you get 6 months roadside assist with every service ? where else do you get your car cleaned and fragranced with every service , and where else can you get a free botlle of injector cleaner with every service

I was referred to Glen and Rachel by a family member - my vehicle had had many issues and after a major issue had to have it towed so took option of towing to Glen - overall experience excellent - customer service, phone manner, knowledge and being direct with what needed to be done (no bullshit - sorry) very straight down the line - I since have a replacement vehicle which has been serviced with an overall assessment and work done - I cannot fault this business in any way and can 100% recommend - have referred this business to various friends for them to have this experience as well
