Carquest has serviced our vehicles for three or four years now. We have found them not only to be excellent mechanics, but very reasonable and honest with their costs and advice.
Lisa is very friendly and efficient in the office and Troy is willing to talk about and give advice in relation to your car problems.
I have had problems with other mechanical repairers in the area in the past, but I cannot recommend Carquest highly enough.

Sadly I no longer live on the Gold Coast and can't take advantage of Lisa & Troy's service any longer. For the period I did live there I had my vehicles serviced and repaired by Troy and never had any issues. Their "bend over backwards" attitude in assisting me at times was greatly appreciated. Miss the free lollies too Lisa :-)

After recently relocating to the Gold Coast we received poor experience from our local mechanic, making us question whether the work required on our car was necessary - with a hefty price tag to match. I took our car to Troy and Lisa for a second opinion as my father recommended. Lisa is super friendly and could not be MORE helpful. I was able to chat to Troy openly and at length about queries and concerns and he made plenty of time for me to make sure we were both on the same page. Thorough inspection and RWC check showed the first mechanic's list of issues was unwarranted. If we had just gone ahead with (unnecessary) suggested repairs from the first mechanic, we would be thousands of dollars out of pocket instead of the few hundred that was actually required.
