MP Auto Repair Centre / Petrie Auto Electrics are both locally owned and operated businesses run by Mark Anderson and Peter Panetta. We are conveniently located in Petrie near the railway station and bus centre. MP Auto Repairs has been in the business for over 5 years and Petrie Auto Electrics for over 15 years.
Our team has a combined total of 60 years of experience, so when you choose us, know that you'll be in safe hands. MP Auto Repair Centre / Petrie Auto Electrics are the ones you can rely on.
With our dedicated and committed team having a combined experience of over 60 years, our owners are also highly credentialed applying both expertise and passion in their services. Mark and Peter are highly credentialed and family men with young families. Graduating with honours, Peter works on all makes of motor cars but specialises in European prestige cars such as BMW, Mercedes Benz etc.
At MP Auto Repair Centre / Petrie Auto Electrics, we value your time and commitments. We have local area pick up and drop off service available for our customers. Our convenient location near the railway station, which is just 50m away, and the bus centre makes it possible for you to drop off your car and head to work. Also, we will give you a courtesy call when your vehicle is ready to be picked up.

These guys care and do a damn good job
5 stars all round but wanted to say to LADIES, they are honest and won't up sell you on un necessary stuff or rip you off. They will explain things without being patronising. No stuff around, no BS. I TREASURE these guys, you will too. (I'm a woman and have had quite a few dodgy mechanics try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge) Not these guys though!
Genuine, without bs
MP Auto have serviced my 2 cars and my in-laws' cars for many years now. There is no BS, upselling, or faking problems. No high tech apple computers in the reception. The reception is Mike and Peter, proper dirty after working on customer cars themselves because they love it, taking bookings in old-school paper dairy. I'm glad when we moved house closer to them so I could actually take my car there.
I had 4 new tyres and a wheel alignment done on my little Mazda a couple of weeks ago. The service was friendly, efficient and the cost was moderate. I have recommended them to my friends and family

One of the best mechanics in Brisbane, I have been unlucky with mechanics in the past 12 years and had a very bad experience with "my car" which used to be called Kmart auto back then as well as Maza dealership in Aspley but would highly recommend MP Auto repairs.
My Mazda cx-5 was serviced and all issues were resolved and it only took a few hours since I dropped off my car at a fraction of the usual price I have paid in the past at other places. Very friendly and professional staff. Thanks for your great service.

We dropped our vehicle in after just a phone call as we lost all electrics, Peter was happy to look at it that afternoon, the biggest surprise was when we got a phone call at 7pm to come and pick it up. They are very efficient and the job was also done at a good price.

For me but one place to go for my vehicle mechanical attention. With their expertise in attending to many vehicle types [for me my Mercedes E500] as well as their great service and customer relations, Mark and Peter set a high standard; and that is not to mention their very competitive rates! Myself and family have been customers for more years than I can remember and on no occasion have we been disappointed with any aspect of our dealings. We have on very minimal instances had to return to address small problems and were met with the same approach as outlined above to correct these small problems. We have in addition found it necessary to drop in and seek advice with regards to some of the many issues that arise when you own a motor vehicle and on every occasion we were treated with a pleasant and positive response to the problem presented.
We can very strongly recommend this business to anybody that may require the services they provide.

Mark and Peter run a very good service. I had my CX 5 serviced and I was very happy with the price and the service. I tried several auto service in the Petrie area and have found MP Autos very fair with their pricing. They will not rip you off.
Extremely happy with the service on my Mazda 3. The local Mazda dealer was useless finding/fixing two problems during a couple of services. Peter had diagnosed one of the problems before I had even finished explaining all the details. And true to his word, he has fixed both. Great value also.
These guys are fairly priced and their attention to detail is fantastic. They've picked up some glaringly obvious faults including safety issues that other have missed. I cannot speak highly enough of Mark, Pete, and the rest of the team. It's an 11 out of 10 from me.
