Boda Haircutters

Went to the Richmond’ salon and have had ongoing issues for over a year with the hair not being cut well- pieces left longer and finally had my tapes placed incorrectly . This last appointment made me so upset that I am now going elsewhere as my hair was 1 & 1/2 cm longer on one side than the other.
I had to pay out of pocket 200 to get it fixed and even though they partially refunded me for the tape misplacement they should have refunded me for the cut because it was so bad.
I get a blunt bob so if you need a decent job then go somewhere less mediocre.
If you have issues beware as they will gaslight you by saying your standards are to high.

Not recommend. Color is wrong and cut uneven. I went home and cried. My partner hate too. Horrible. I will not go back.

They're so welcoming, was such a comfortable experience. Worked with my time constraints and still made my hair cut look amazing. Would 100% recommend!!!

Coming to Boda is like visiting family yet leaving looking like a million dollars. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere with amazing staff so well led by Angie. I had my colour and haircut done by Rachel last week. She changed my hair colour and did my blonde foils beautifully. I also had quite a bit cut off into a bob and she did such an amazing job on my hair. It was such a happy salon. I would highly recommend to everyone.

I have been in search for a good hairdresser for a loooong time and last week I went to boda haircutters to see Rachel. I can honestly say without a doubt I have never had someone take the care that she did. My hair was a bit of a mess when I arrived and had been slightly neglected however after a friendly and thorough consultation I knew what I wanted and felt that Rachel was going to achieve it. I was right. The colour is better than I had imagined and the cut is one of the best I have ever had. Usually I go straight home and wash and style my hair myself as it is thick and incredibly difficult to style, however Rachel had it looking amazing and wavy and I wore it out that night. Couldn't be happier and can't wait for my next appointment at boda!

I have been in Melbourne for 8 years and have never found a hairdresser who gets my colour right. I tried Boda hairdressers and am so so happy with Georgia. She really knows her stuff, and explains every step of the process. I feel like I can trust her to make all the decisions for me. She also does the best head massage! The salon is really beautiful , and all the girls are all so lovely, making it a very relaxed place to have my hair done. I definitely recommend Georgia, especially for blondes. I have sent lots of friends lately and they agree their colour is perfect.

I was first seen by Georgia and have stayed with her due to professional and honest advice, style techniques, colour choice etc. The salon has a quiet atmosphere and the interior is both modern and welcoming. The ambience of the salon is relaxing and the service from all the girls and their attention to detail is exceptional. I have had my hair done here for 7 years, and I still keep coming back for more. I am always happy when I leave and really enjoy the great service while I am there. They offer you a glass of wine or a coffee while you're relaxing in the chair and always have new magazines to read (it's the worst if you come back to a place three months later and they till have magazines from last year!)

I would recommend anyone who are fussy about their hair to go to Boda, they know what they are doing!

I booked in for a colour with Angie as she came recommended to me, and I'm so glad I tried her out! She really listens and knows her stuff. For the first time going to a hairdresser, i felt like i got exactly what I wanted. Also, the head massages are out of this world, and the girls are all so friendly. Highly recommend.

A relaxing and seamless hair cut. I had rushed from work prior to a public holiday and found the salon very warming and homey. The skylight where the hair basins are is amazing, you absolutely forget everything. The hair cut and style was great, I used a first visit discount offered on WOMO - great value $50 or so. The stylists are very personable, I would definitely visit again.

Wow these girls know how to take care of you! As soon as I walked into the salon my experience was the best I've had. The basin chairs are unreal..and my head massage was the best I have ever received which was perfect after my day at work. Was a freezing Melbourne day and I got to lye there with a snugly blanket! Was greeted by everybody in the salon, had such a warm and friendly atmosphere. They have there own espresso machine and was made a Latte to order with a biscuit! Little details really made it for me.
I was a bit hesitate at first about letting someone new do my hair after moving down from Brisbane but Colleen made me feel right at ease. I normally get blonde blonde every time but Colleen suggested doing a natural low light to ease into winter so I wasn't so bright and was amazed with how natural my hair ended up looking. And my blow dry..never thought my hair could get that much body! And to my surprise 3 days later it was still holding up!
In the end I would highly recommend this salon to anybody looking for a new salon that isn't all stuck up or with stuck up prices! Very affordable for the treatment I received!

Lovely place to get pampered. The massage chairs are amazing and Danielle's head massage very impressive. She paid attention to what I wanted and took her time doing my hair. Efficient and not overly pretentious; highly recommended.

got my hair cut and coloured yesterday and was really happy with the results. I came in with a photo found in a magazine and the hairdresser recreated the look perfectly.

I booked in on Saturday for the races and had Cathy style my hair, not only did i have an awesome style but my blow wave lasted all weekend definitely got my moneys worth. It was such a warm & loving environment all the girls are well dressed and have there unique style which is cool. I was informed they would be open early all race days, i think i will be spending the next few weeks at Boda :)

Tried these guys out as a result of WOMOW reviews and wasn't disappointed. Saw Abby and she did a great job of discussing my needs with me, and of explaining things as we went along. I learned things that no one has bothered to explain in all the decades I've been getting my hair cut and/or coloured.

Very friendly and professional salon. Really nice massage chairs when you're getting your hair washed. They got my colour and cut perfect on my first visit. I've struggled to find a decent salon I want to keep going to but now I've found it!

After reading other reviews on this website, I was very excited for my first appointment with Dani at Boda. Totally impressed! Great explanation of the cut that we were going with. Excellent understanding of my needs & wants. The lovely warm blanket coupled with the BEST head massage ever while at the basin (Dani stated that it is the best part of getting your hair cut, so she has to indulge the clients!) And then more explaining of what she was doing while cutting my hair. The best ever part? The follow up call a week later to see how my cut was going! NEVER, EVER experienced this before! I highly recommend!!

The treatment you receive at Boda Haircutters is truly exceptional. Salon owner Angie is an amazing stylist with years of experience, she's a beautiful colourist and her haircuts are of extremely high calibre. Dani is also a wonder, her attention to detail and HEAD MASSAGES are far and above anything I've ever experienced. Angie has styled my hair for more than 7 years and I have recommended her to countless friends.
The girls are sweet, kind, funny, and always remember the silly stories you told last appointment and ask how things are going.
The salon has a warm and inviting ambience, the products used smell like heaven, Bec makes an amazing latte and there's always a pot of tea on. Easily the best salon in Prahran.
