I was desperate for a hair cut and didn't have the time to go into the city to my usual barber. So this Barber Shop was the perfect location for me today. Fortunately I didn't have to wait long and then within 15 minutes I was done and it cost $24, not badly priced,
I will admit that my burger was on the sloppy side but i didn't mind because it was awesome, it was huge and it was perfect! I didn't care that the delicious juices oozed all over because it was finger lickin good. Do try, I am sure they will have a burger that will please you, but you really need all the trimmings. Yummo!
I tried the beef aussie club and my girlfriend the chicken hawaiian club with 2 sides being delicious onion rings and sweet potato chips. We liked the range of burgers to choose from, prices were around $13, not badly priced and very tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. We will return.
I love my cheese so given the opportunity to try before I buy is always enticing. The staff were friendly and suggested a few to try, no disappointment here, they certainly offer some delicious tasty high quality cheese. This is one stop you don't want to miss when visiting Hahndorf.
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to sweet treats here, delicious fudge, chocolates, just about everything you can think or dream of, I am sure they stock. My girlfriend and I left with a bag full of goodies. A definite must stop in.
Whilst in Hahndorf we were looking for some salami and chilli burners. Well the German Pantry stocked the lot, I tried the kangaroni which is a mixed of kangaroo and beef - I really liked it and purchased a couple of sticks at $2.50 each. I also purchased the Hot Taste Pack at $12, I thought it was a bargain. It contains pepperoni, burner, chilli burner and also chilli jerky, the perfect way to try a bit of everything - this I highly recommend but only if you can take the heat.
This shop stocks all sorts of german produce including cakes, biscuits, chocolates, sauekraut, you name it and they will probably have it. Prices are very reasonable, I spent $33 on salamis and an extra hot one called "X Rated Bum Burner Stick", yes, it is hot!
How rude! The woman working here is not so pleasant, doesn't seem to know what customer service is. I wanted to purchase a couple of lotto tickets, oz lotto being one of them. I hadn't tried oz lotto before so I asked a few questions, the look on her face was 'don't waste my time' and she spoke to me like I was stupid. She also spoke to another customer in this way and I could see how embarrassed he was. We then rushed out the door and definitely will NOT be returning. So very disappointing, didn't deserve our business.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed breakfast here, the girls were very nice and friendly, many tables available and even an area with a couple of couches to just sit and enjoy coffee. We decided to try the pancakes and oh they were so good, very nicely presented and very filling. We ordered two pancakes each priced at $12, the pancakes were huge, very fluffy and served with maple syrup, whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries. This is the breakfast I recommend you try, you wont be disappointed.

After my doctor's appointment I headed to my local pharmacy to fill my script. Fortunately it wasn't busy and it was ready in about 5 minutes. Not huge but adequate, they also stock many gift ideas which my girlfriend enjoyed checking out. I cannot say that the staff were overly friendly but service was quick.
My girlfriends family were having a get together here and I really tried to change their mind after my visit a couple of years ago. Well, I cannot say anything had really changed, found the staff were not attentive enough, we were constantly trying to grab their attention and as for our meals, well, disappointing. Everyone said they would listen to me next time. It was not such a great gathering, so another will be planned in a couple of weeks - my choice!
