If I am after a quick cheap indian meal then I often go here for lunch as their specials are around $9, the serving is generous and their curry dishes are quite nice. Service is always quick, great for eat in or take away.
These guys are really getting to know me now as I am here nearly every week. Their dishes are so moreish, authentic, generous and delicious, so hard to resist. I can't put my finger on a favourite because I have loved every dish I have tried. One I would definitely recommend you give a try is their lamb spinach, it doesn't look fantastic, but just wait till you try it, you don't even realise you are eating spinach. No complaints here, just praise.
I have a friend living nearby so when visiting we often go here. Their burgers are HUGE and delicious, priced at around $9, great value. Sometimes just a coffee is required, this cafe has been newly renovate, is comfortable and very welcoming. Will be trying their steak sandwich next time as I heard it is awesome.
Had dinner with a few friends at the Maccy Pub, always a pleasure, meals are consistently excellent. Recently dined on their Schnitzel night - $15, I had chicken schnitzel with chips and veg. My schnitzel was huge almost took up the whole plate, I only just managed to finish it and it was delicious. I had the salt and pepper squid for entree, it was perfect and priced at $12, great value. Service was quick and friendly, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their schnitzels, chips and beer. A great meal out.
Decided to try lunch here again as my friends really felt like it. Service was quick and food delicious. Excellent satay sticks and beef noodles, prices are ok, fairly large menu and friendly staff.
He is the Godfather! Well that's what people are calling Frank the Barber. I travel a great distance just to get my hair cut here as he is the best, he is always my first stop in the morning otherwise the queue would be down the street and I wouldn't have the time to wait. He listens to what you want and does the perfect cut, never any reason to complain. Always the perfect cut.
This was my second visit here and unfortunately this time it was disappointing, I think I was possible give someone elses order as mine was horrible, didn't taste anything like last time. I love my yiros, but not this time round. The staff are very warm and friendly and I just didn't want to complain, so I tossed it in the bin and purchased elsewhere. I will try them again but watch exactly what they are giving me.
Was have an electrical problem with my dashboard and needed it looked at as well as replacing some globes. I managed to book in on the day I requested, left my car with them for a few hours, received a call to pick it up and was charged double what I was expecting. They told me they were having some difficulty and it was very time consuming. Basically, i was just happy that they fixed the problem.
Great cafe, only a couple of kms from home. Always like to pick up a pie and usually a donut of two for myself and my girlfriend. Quick, friendly service.
With my girlfriend living nearby we tend to frequent this joint quite a bit, unfortunately they have been closed at random times due to some electrical problems. We managed to catch them open a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed some mud cake and coffee for around $7, bargain price. Very nice cake with cream on the side, coffee great also. Service was quick and friendly.
