Extremely poor customer service!
I wanted a reasonably priced cordless phone to replace a broken unit.
The salesman kept telling me the phone I wanted was "Chinese rubbish" and that I should spend an extra $100 on a better model. If the phone I wanted was no good, why were Betta Electrical Rutherford selling it in the first place?!?!?
When I insisted on buying the cheaper model the salesman abruptly said he would get one from the storeroom and walked away.
On the way to the storeroom he was stopped by another customer wishing to purchase an expensive LCD TV so he started serving the customer himself and embarrasingly yelled out to a junior to finish what he was doing and then serve me - it seemed as though the salesman didn't want to serve me because I wasn't spending enough money.
After waiting around for almost 5 minutes, the junior arrived and asked me what I wanted. Instead of going through the whole sales routine again, I left the store and eventually purchased the exact same phone from eBay at a lower price and without the hassles!
I will never recommend Better Electrical Rutherford to anyone, nor will I ever shop there again!

Tame That Computer built me a really nice new gaming system with all the bells and whistles!
After I explained to Andy at Tame That Computer what I wanted to use a new computer for, he made some recommendations and gave me specs, warranty and a price so I could compare them with quotes I had from other suppliers.
Unlike numerous computer sales people I've dealt with in the past, Andy never at any time tried to convince me that I needed a better system than the one I was looking for or sell me "add-ons".
I shopped around but couldn't find anyone that came close to Tame That Computer's friendly service, quality of components, warranty, value for money or speed of build.
Andy had a similar spec PC in his shop at the time which he very kindly demonstrated and let me test to my hearts content - something I have never experienced during many previous PC and laptop purchases.
I was impressed with Andy's wealth of computer knowledge and decided I would rather spend my money on a good looking machine that was built and tested properly, didn't come with a bag full of unwanted trial software and was backed by an excellent warranty and after sales service which is second-to-none!
I was told that it may take two or three days to procure the parts, build, install software and test my new PC for me.
Pleasantly Surprised, I received a call from Andy the following day - he informed me that my new computer was ready to go!
I can't praise Andy and his staff at Tame That Computer enough - they really go out of their way to look after their customers.
Purchasing a new computer system from Tame That Computer was a wonderful experience for me, it far exceeded my expectations and I was treated like a real person, not just someone to extract money from.
I would gladly recommend Andy and his staff to anyone having computer problems or looking to purchase a new system.
