The best restaurant in Kingscote these days - and I know the list is small, but these gals are GREAT! They were flooded with patrons before we walked in unannounced off the street, but we got the best table ever- on the lounge on the verandah. They were upfront about the wait for food (45mins) then at our request had home made tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa and a pitcher of tangy Margaritas on the table within 10mins. Now THAT is service. The food was delicious: prawn burritos, chicken enchiladas, mushroom quesadillas and the aforementioned dips. Oh, and more of those pitchers.

Had a great afternoon with a bunch of mates at this seriously hip spot. We had everything on the menu between us and everyone had a different favourite, although the pâté seemed to be universally applauded. Tried wines and beers from a range of wineries and brewers we hadn't tried before - like going to a tasting only with a swag of producers all brought together! Even though we had 16 people in our group which meant 8 lots of payment at the end, there was absolutely no fuss. A lesson other venues should learn - and fast!
Two visits in the last month and both 5 star experiences. Nothing is too much trouble, the food is heavenly and they'll do whatever they can to find you a table even when they're flat out. Flavours of Thailand you won't get anywhere else, except maybe Thailand.

A great night completely destroyed by the 'no split bill' argument which ended it. They wanted to charge 2% PER CARD (all Visa) which would have added 10% to the total bill! HATE this policy. Since when has paying by credit card become basically unacceptable? We will never again patronise this or any other establishment which will not allow their customers to pay as they choose.
I've bought luggage on three separate occasions from Luggage Direct and had no problems at all. Everything has arrived promptly and all the pieces, big and small, have been great quality and great value.
