I have visited the Freo Prison before in 2007 and it made me feel very incomfortable. There was an air of fear,terror,anguish and foreboding around this place,especially at the gallows, and while visiting Fremantle this time I decided to wait outside while my husband went on the Tour. He enjoyed it immensely. He enjoyed the commentary and took many photos. This tour is a must for anyone who likes the macabre. I must add that I would love to do a night tour sometime!
Just like their counterparts in Fremantle,these guys are great. If only we had them in South Aust!!! It's fantastic to eat fish and chips out of the paper,overlooking a beautiful marina.
The battered fish is superb and so fresh. A must if you have lunch in Mandurah!
Having eaten there in 2007,it was no.1 on our places for dinner. The Fish is to die for!!! Chips are chips anywhere and there are few who can make them right,but these people make the most fabulous battered fish. The serves are large and the best time to go for lunch is about 11:30am. Wish we had them in S.A.
If you are visiting Perth ,this eatery is a must! Good food.Good service. Extra good value.
The atmosphere is terrific and the service lacks nothing. We were attended to almost immediately and our orders were delivered in very little waiting time. And don't forget.... it's a 24 hr Cafe!
A great place to spend a few hours when touring Fremantle. There are always lots to look at when visiting markets,but this one is above average. Most places have expensive "junk" but there are very good priced items and clothing here. The atmosphere is better than most and there is plenty of food and heaps of traders. Take lots of money if you are visiting for the first time!
Having stayed here previously in 2007, I found the standard was not quite as good this time.
We had a very comfortable room with great views of Wellington St. The buses and trains were nearby. We were a bit annoyed by the noise from other guests at all hours.
It is a very handy place to stay if you are in Perth for a short stay.
Having recently spent 4 wet and wild days at the mount, we did not get to go on the tour because of the rain. The Blue Lake is one of the most wonderful natural wonders in the South East of S.A.. I have visited several times when the lake is blue and when it's grey. It's a must for all visitors from Australia and Overseas. We did get to enjoy the Cafe and a nice toasted sandwich and hot coffee !
One of the interesting sights to visit while in Mt Gambier. The sinkhole is one of natures accidents and has been enhanced by manually grown plants throughout the bottom of the cave. The ivy hanging over the edges discreetly hides the steps and from the opposite side of the sinkhole, makes it more photographic friendly. One of the must do for visitors to the mount.

Being on a limited budget and fed up with expensive and tough meat from the Supermarkets,
we discovered Gawler River Cattle Co and decided to give them a try. The service is reasonably friendly but the meat is excellent value and very tender. With 8 outlets,we are lucky to have 3 of them within distance. As long as they keep the prices down and continue with good products, they're our first choice.
Fantastic. What was looking like a nightmare for me,was easy for them. Recently retired and not able to understand what is supposed to be easy to do on-line, I gave up and went for professional advise. It was sorted out by a very lovely lady and I was surprised at my estimated Tax refund. This was my last ever return and I wanted to get it right. I suppoe if the Government made it too easy we wouldn't have nice people like we met. Well done I.T.P.
