Went late on a Friday after being to a show at the Entertainment Centre and although the place was really busy they were well staffed and we were served in good time. Our order was a bit mucked up as they had a fair bit of new staff on that night, but when we mentioned it at the till we weren't charged for the incorrect order so I was really happy with that level of customer service. The food was of the usual good quality that you receive at Fast Eddy's and all the salads and breads were fresh and tasty

The atmosphere is terrific and the service lacks nothing. We were attended to almost immediately and our orders were delivered in very little waiting time. And don't forget.... it's a 24 hr Cafe!
We went to Fast Eddys a couple of times four years ago and as we were over again from Adelaide, decided to give them another go. We were impressed with the over-all experience last time and this time with a party of four we were equally satisfied. We ordered our meals in the restaurant section and thought the prices were quite reasonable for this type of venue. The bottle of wine was also more than reasonably priced. The meals we had were all of very generous proportions and very tasty. The waiters were very courteous and friendly checking on us every so often to see if we required any thing else. The whole establishment was clean and tidy and well positioned and as other diners arrived, were attended to immediately. There was very little waiting time to acquire our meals and this went for other patrons that were here as well. The place was adorned with various pieces of memorabilia from early days which bought back fleeting memories. On leaving we spoke to the cashier as we paid our bill and he was very friendly and cheerful . This place is definitely not run by backpackers but there are a few hired to work there from time to time. Overall Fast Eddys was an interesting, pleasurable and rewarding experience which we would definitely include in our itinerary if and when we are again in Perth.

Stafff were not very chirpy / bubbly. Meal was good but nothing to rave about- but you get what you pay for so overall its a good casual dining experience.

Nothing flash - convenient location but the older staff are quite rude. Not the place to go for just a drink, no alcohol will be served unless you purchase a main meal (each) first! For some reason, they don't allow you to "share" a meal, or just order starters. In order to get a drink, you must order a MAIN meal per person first - (or at least that's where we were told!)
The reason you cannot share a meal or just order starters in order to purchase alcohol is that it contravenes Liquor laws.
The burgers are quite nice but Fast Eddys really need to do something about their chips as they are very bland compared to nandos. Restaurant section is really bad, expensive and small serves. Fast food section however is much cheaper and pretty much worth the price. Better than mcdonalds but not by a country mile. I much prefer Bucking Bull for steak burgers/sandwiches and chips as they as cheap and far tastier.
The food is not of a high standard. But the coffees have always been fine. Once I had a muffin here and it was actually quite nice. As the others have said, it's run by teenagers and backpackers so you could not expect anymore. It's open 24 hours so I would definitely come here for a late night snack but not arrange to go here for a dinner with friends or partners.
Run by teenagers and backpackers? No its not. Its run by a guy who works his but off to put good food on the table as quickly as possible. Unless you've been there lately to try all there changes made then maybe you should refrain from making uninformed comments.
You can't expect much for a 24 hour restaurant run by teenagers, but I've had a couple of meals here and found them to be tasteless. Service is slow and orders and frequently mixed up or completely lost.
We were treated like royalty, the food was delicious and a huge amount of scrumptious food as well. Our thickshakes were deliciously cold and we were actually given the left overs of the thickshakes to drink when the glass was empty.

Considering this place is run by backpackers, the food is always high quality, the prices haven't changed in donkey's and it's open 24 hours - perfect for when you're famished after a long day at work or a hard night on the town. Fast Eddy's is a regular haunt for my mates and I and with good reason.
