Donut king never fails to satisfy with its donuts,hot dogs,milkshakes..their coffee is not the best,but everything else is great,for kids and adults.i love hot cinnamon donuts,but they also sell cold donuts with icing and lollies on top for the kids(or adults lol)also at the end of the day they sell bags of donuts on special which are only about $3 a bag :) good buy!
One of the better kebabs ive tried in a shopping centre,and beats the usual takeaway fried foods!ingredients are fresh,made on spot,prices excellent and staff are efficient and friendly!
I love the watermelon juice from here and tropical crush,it's always made fresh on the spot.you can include extras like wheat germ vitamins echinacea etc in your drink too.if you join the club for free,you get a free juice on your birthday :) drinks cost a bit,it is alot to pay for a juice,but they are great :)
Always a great place to get my kids haircut,they're very affordable(cheapest in shopping centre)and the waiting time is no more then 15mins.hairdressers are always really nice,down to earth and good at what they do.
Partner had his hair done here,some awesome lines in his hair,the barber was a cool laid back guy,really knew what he was doing.the shop is also a tattooist,from what I see in their photos of work they've done,they look like talented artists.whole place is clean,friendly and staff are decent.
Extremely convenient surgery right in the heart of cairns,open 24/7,male and female drs available,they accept Medicare healthcare cards and the drs all seem lovely.the dr I saw was great,her English wasn't perfect,but she understood what was wrong and got me fixed up :)
This burger place has been around for years,it used to be under the old theatre it was named after,but after that was demolished,it was moved just down the road.the food good if you want to grab a bite to eat down the esplanade,but it's not the best I've ever had.partner had the monster burger,so named because it has two hamburger patties,two of everything and it is gigantic,I'm glad I didn't try n eat it,it was huge :)
Not sure if we went on an off night,but food wasn't quite as amazing as peoe have suggested to me..had Thai chicken spring rolls to start,thought something different would be good..it was a strange taste,not awful..just different..should stick to normal spring rolls maybe?main was the Pork belly which was nice,well cooked but croquettes weren't great.desserts weren't too much to choose for I had cream caramel which was way too sweet.$17 was alot for a dessert too.place is very very pricey,but I didn't think it was worth it at all.
Lovely clean friendly affordable accommodation located close to all shops in port Douglas,or as locals call it,the "port".my only gripe with this place is they only provide you with a couple of towels,and then if you want more you have to pay for them and you're not allowed to wash them in the apartment?..also the toilet isn't very well closed off,you can hear everything..so a bit embarrassing if you need number two lol...the pool was lovely and clean.would stay again if in the port again.
I tried this place as it looked really cute,like a little cottage.the menu is extensive and quite trendy,and the coffee variety is good.i had the Spanish breakkie,which was spicy eggs and chorizo,it was ok but not as good as others I've had.my partner had the large larder(huge breakfast)and liked it,it was nice..not amazing,but ok.prices are expensive,more like really posh cafe prices.will try here again as it is a nice cafe,but won't be there as often as some.
