If I'm looking for computer software or any type of gadget I go straight to the nearest Dick Smith store. You cannot beat the service of the trained staff who have knowledge of the products. Last time I shopped there after walking out of Big W in a huff they matched their prices with the slightly cheaper ones in Big w.
Simply the best hamburgers I have ever had! This is hamburger heaven. They have a variety of hamburgers, 6 of which I've eaten - all delicious. You can eat in or take away and the service is friendly.

The very best for leg waxes and skin advice. Totally professional. May cost slightly more than other salons but worth it. They know what they're talking about.
If I'm in Newtown and am hungry for Italian pasta I make a beeline for this place. Absolutely delicious every time. Always busy, always fresh, fast service. For around $10 - $13 per dish you can't beat it.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Maria, the owner, does a fantastic job cutting, colouring and styling. It's always service with a smile and her prices are way below what you'd pay elsewhere for exactly the same hair treatment. Highly recommended!
I spent a couple of months there and was impressed by the gorgeous rain forest style courtyard. It was hard to believe that noisy king st was just outside. This guest house is owner operated, clean and reasonably priced. The quiet atmosphere and proximity to everything makes it the perfect place to stay. Many of the guests, including myself, have maintained contact with Chelsea, the owner. I recommend it as the perfect place to stay if you want peace and quiet at home and city entertainment just up the road.
