this place was a bit disappointing. I got a burrito and it lacked flavour. Nothing bad about it it was just bland and not a lot of filling. The baked potatoes look good but I haven't tried them yet. Fast service and pretty cheap
This cafe has great coffee. It is nice in summer to sit outside and it is close to the beach. Friendly service.
great breakfast and very reasonable priced. Bacon and egg roll with coffee came to only $6. The coffee was very good - I was expecting it to be bad for that price! Will definitely be back.
I was a bit disappointed by this place. The service especially let it down. We made a booking for a late lunch - 2.30pm and when we got there we were told that the kitchen would be closing at 3pm so we would have to hurry. We asked to be seated by the window as the views are stunning but were told that these tables had already been prepared for dinner so we couldn't sit there. The food was mediocre. I had the cauliflower soup which was bland and oily. The chicken was also bland and quite dry. The rice desert was lovely for a cold day and quite good comfort food. They took 20 minutes to take our plates away after we had finished the mains and it was virtually impossible to get service for drinks - we had empty glasses for 30 minutes before we got the attention of the waiter.
My laptop got a virus and would not turn on. I brought it here to be fixed and had no idea what was wrong with it. I had to pay $70 upfront before they'd even look at it. It took a long time for them to get around to it as they were busy (maybe 2 weeks) and then when it was fixed I had to pay another $100 I think. If I did not pick it up in the next 2 days from when it was fixed there would be an extra charge per day for storage! That was a bit awkward as I couldn't pick it up until the weekend as I don't work close-by so I had to ask a friend to go pick it up for me. They never gave me any explanation of what had been wrong with it, what they had done to fix it or what I could do in the future to prevent it happening again. It did work fine after and I haven't had any problems since though.
Great beer garden to sit in when the sun is shining. Big screen for sports. Gets a bit busy at the weekends but a good atmosphere
Great fish and chips but a bit expensive. Can be a bit slow but worth the wait for these awesome chips. Close to the beach to sit in the park and enjoy.
This is a really convenient restaurant to go to for casual dining as it is in the upstairs of Ryan's bar. We went there as a group and got a nice area on the balcony. Food is pretty average though - nothing very exciting. I ordered a salad and asked for chicken in it and really confused the menu - clearly they are not used to people ordering something with a bit of a change from the menu. For drinks, you need to go to the bar which is fine but it was a busy saturday night with a few parties on so took a while to get to the bar each time.
Nest has a beautiful range of home-ware items. Some are very unique and beautifully crafted. They are on the expensive side though
This is a great little bakery. The bread is yummy! The best bakery in Thirroul for bread. They have a pretty big cake selection and the scones are tasty. They also serve pies etc
