We used Exit Clean Brisbane recently and can't recommend them highly enough. They turn up on time as described, work efficiently and thoroughly and do a fantastic job. They even provide a certificate if required to show real estates or landlords.

It's great to deal with a company that lives up to its promises and does an excellent job.

We would certainly use Exit Clean Brisbane the next time we have an empty property to clean.

Elixir serve really amazing coffee. Great coffee is hard to find but I'm very fortunate that within a 1km radius from where I live, I can buy awesome coffee. At Elixir, which is in the heart of an industrial precinct, the coffee is expertly roasted and there are lots of treats on offer to eat.

Elixir coffee is the brand used at Hutch Bistro at The Grange which is great because even if the store itself is closed, you can still get a fantastic caffeine hit not too far away :).

This is actually a bit of a locals' secret so get in there to find it for yourself!!

Grab your lotto, pick up the newspaper or a magazine or browse the store. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop offers everything you'd expect from a newsagent plus, as it's not in a shopping centre, you can run in and out in seconds.

Right next door is a Pizza Capers, a bottle shop, a video store and a 7-11. Handy dandy!

I almost don't want to leave a review of this place because it's like a secret little find. Can you imagine paying just $5 for a small ($10 for a large) authentic Italian pizza??? Well that's what you get here! They also do large serves of pasta for $8 and it's all home made!

The service is friendly, you can take away or sit outside at the tables provided and the food is good!!

Parking is hard to find unless you park at Kedron Wavell RSL car park.

Don't go there looking for high end gourmet pizzas. These are proper Italian pizzas that are light on toppings but heavy on flavour.

You can even get fresh, home made cannolis, rum baba and a few other sweet treats. Highly recommended!!

No queues when we arrived at 8.45pm on a Tuesday night. Shop looks clean, tidy and well maintained. The guy who served us was friendly and efficient.

I was a bit disappointed with the 'thick Italian hot chocolate' as it wasn't actually thick and it was WAY too sweet. Don't order it if you're having a dessert too. And at $6.50, that's a costly disappointment.

The tutti frutti waffles were great but I still find it weird that they serve it with a knife and fork. Strange, eating ice cream with a fork.

A bit pricey for the desserts but for something different, or for a powerful chocolate hit, it's a good place to go.

Cudo started selling meat online recently and I'll admit to being sceptical at first but thought I'd give it a go. Well the meat didn't arrive on the day it was meant to but when it did, I was impressed. The pricing was excellent: $109 for a whole eye fillet and a whole sirloin, including delivery to the door in cryovac packaging, in a cooler with ice packs.

The only inconvenience is you have to cut the meat yourself but this is only minor. You can cut it to exactly the thickness you require.

The quality of the meat has been superb. Both cuts were tender, delicious and I'll even say luxurious.

Communication wasn't great when I emailed to say the order hadn't arrived, but I guess all's well that ends well.

Every shopping centre needs a good greengrocer and this is it for Stafford City. They do great deli, admittedly small but offering pretty much all you need without getting overly fancy.

The fruit and veg specials out the front are enticing and get you into the store where the prices lean more towards premium. The quality is good and the staff are usually friendly.

Mangoes 3 for $2 today, a good indication of things to come for summer :)

I won't buy a book anymore without consulting booko.com.au first. Simply enter the book you want (or DVD) and it'll bring up a range of options. Choose the most relevant then it delivers results of the cheapest retailers across the world, shows the price plus shipping (if not free). It includes bookdepository, amazon and mainstream book suppliers that you'd be familiar with, as well as ebay listings. Then you simply click on the retailer link and it takes you to their site for you to purchase. It's easy and you'll be amazed at how cheaply you can buy books when you have booko.com.au at hand.

Yep, the food is pretty good here. We arrived unannounced on a busy Friday evening and the place was jumping. Happily, a table for two was found for us. The atmosphere is loud and bustling so if you prefer a quiet place to enjoy conversation, try somewhere else. Everyone seemed to be happy, chatting away, eating and drinking.

We did have an odd experience, being 'visited' by our waitress more times than was welcome who actually tried to get a lift home with us, in no uncertain terms. This spoiled an otherwise enjoyable evening and was strange, to say the least. It might even prevent us from returning.

Happy with the food, prices are reasonable. Parking is a nightmare so plan on walking a bit. Recommend, but don't encourage conversation with the wait staff.

I recently signed up with Blue Pod to receive a pod coffee machine and Lavazza coffee pods. The service from start to end has been magnificent. I particularly wanted to make sure that there was no risk in their "free coffee machine - just buy pods" model and the operator assured me that there was not. You simply take delivery of the machine and the pods and if you decide to return it within 30 days, they will collect them and all you pay is for the pods you used.

Unfortunately, we found that we really didn't use the machine often enough to warrant it. The Lavazza pods were ok but not our favourite brand. We were also supplied with a milk frother which we got to keep.

At every point in communication, Blue Pod's team have been highly professional, polite, approachable and efficient. They have made everything as simple as possible and I really regret not continuing with the arrangements but as I said, we didn't use the machine enough to warrant paying for what amounts to a cup per day. Odd but true.

I tend to buy flat whites when I'm out and about and thought that might change but due to a busy schedule, I still bought coffees on the go.

I would highly recommend Blue Pod for anyone who enjoys coffee and the convenience of being able to make your own - with zero mess and zero skill required - at home. It's very refreshing to find a company that lives up to its promises, even when the customer decides to return the goods. Very impressed.
