Lefkas on a busy night is loud, noisy and has a selection of some delicious foods - particularly their yiros (with freshly made pide, crispy, chewy grilled meat and fresh salad), their dips and their salads. I've also enjoyed their desserts and other items like their lamb shank.

I haven't enjoyed their seafood items or their moussaka, so I would say their strength isn't gourmet fare.

Little bit more than average price. The wait staff are friendly, but understandably a bit harried on busy nights.

What you can expect is good honest food at a bustling, energetic restaurant (live music on Friday nights), where most people look like they're having a fun time.

Good quality Greek food. Nothing overly special, but a great place fora Greek meal.

Sitting outside is good, but avoid the tables on the main thoroughfare.

The share platters are a little uninspiring but still fills everyone up. If you want something different, order some dishes from the vegetarian menu (the stuffed eggplant is nice)

The food at Lefkas is always enjoyable, though not gourmet. The yiros and cold octopus salad are especially enjoyable dishes. The prices are not unreasonable. The overriding reason I have given it a below average review is that the level of noise felt oppressive to me, due to the crowding of patrons into a small, hard-surfaced space, sometimes augmented by electric bazooki music. If you find loud noise unpleasant, it might not be your best choice. If you don't mind hubub and have great hearing it would be worth a try.

Yep the food is amazing and the new renovations make it even nicer, but parking can be a real pain. I have going there for almost 12 years and when I saw the chance to review I thought I would take it. I also come from Melbourne an boy talk about great food so I was thrilled when I tripped across lefkas all those years ago.

I had a girls night here... 4 of us girls ordered two platters for two and i would say there was enough for 6-8! Great quality food and a great atmosphere. The band is awesome too.... Excellent service and the best Greek food in Brisbane!

Quality isn't the problem here, the food is always great which is testament to how long this business has been around. The time I went last was with a group of friends. We ordered a lot of share plates to start - all were amazing. Service could have been a little faster but it was a busy Friday night so not too bad. My spanakopita was way too salty. Not sure if that's how it usually is but I couldn't finish it and no one at the table was willing to help out. Everything else was delicious, I'll definitely be back again!

My favourite Greek Restaurant around! The place is amazing and always packed because it is just that good. They have the option of takeaway from the hotbox, freshly cooked yiros and dine in meals also. The prices are fantastic for the food that you get and it is superbly authentic! My favourites are the taramasalata and hot pita bread and the chicken yiros! Oh and the galaktaboureko is pretty amazing too!!! Only a small place but the quality is always fantastic!

Yep, the food is pretty good here. We arrived unannounced on a busy Friday evening and the place was jumping. Happily, a table for two was found for us. The atmosphere is loud and bustling so if you prefer a quiet place to enjoy conversation, try somewhere else. Everyone seemed to be happy, chatting away, eating and drinking.

We did have an odd experience, being 'visited' by our waitress more times than was welcome who actually tried to get a lift home with us, in no uncertain terms. This spoiled an otherwise enjoyable evening and was strange, to say the least. It might even prevent us from returning.

Happy with the food, prices are reasonable. Parking is a nightmare so plan on walking a bit. Recommend, but don't encourage conversation with the wait staff.

Thorougly enjoyed eating take away from here one night, so much, that we went back two nights later! The food was very good quality. Tasty and prices were very reasonable. The staff were friendly and the Baklava was yummo! When we are back in Brisbane will definitely eat here again!

Arrived a busy Friday night, the place was packed. We have to be placed at a table that sitting on an angel. For the whole night we have a watch our water and wine doesn't run into the edge of the table. 4 of us ordered 3 serves of banquet, and even that was enough. Nothing much i can say about the food, well cooked, tasty, and very fast.

Lefka's has held it's reputation over a long time and for good reason. The food is, and always has been, fantastic. I've been going with my family for years and never had a bad experience there. Overall good value and satisfactory service.

Went there on a busy Saturday night, actually arrived about an hour to late for our reservation, but the friendly staff found us a good table nonetheless. The place is authentic: Furnished very simple and reminds me very much of the tavernas back in Greece. And so is the food: Great authentic taste, especially the grilled meats (try the lamb, it's fantastic!).
Unfortunately the toilets are just as authentic as the rest of the place and parking can be a challenge on busy nights.

Great place - we get takeaway most of the time = the pork and chicken off the spit roast is the best I have ever had - also like their spinach/cheese pastries.

Arrived early on Saturday eve looking forward to authentic greek meal but disappointed. All Salads swimming in oil, calamari tender but no real taste and no sauce provided. Lamb was nice though. Staff not really interested in our feedback, when asked if our meals ok and told they were too oily, staff just smiled and too bad guys you'll have to lift your game if you intend to compete.
