A fantastic Thai restaurant located away from the city end of Bridge Road. It is a small place, but has FANTASTIC food. The quality is VERY HIGH and the service is EXCELLENT!! Service is fast and friendly. There is a good variety of different dishes including plenty for vegetarians. One of the best Green Curries I have ever had!
A great local Japanese restaurant. Quite authentic cuisine, although the staff appear to be Chinese and not Japanese. The banquets are great value for money. If you have never tried Japanese food before, it gives you a great idea of the different dishes that exist in Japanese cuisine.
A fantastic local Indian restaurant. The food is perhaps the best Indian that I have eaten. There is a wide variety of dishes available, including a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. There is also a wide variety of entrees available as well. The service is ok - the staff can seem a little grim and stand offish at first, but they tend to warm up after a few visits. The food more than makes up for the service!!

A franchise of the Retravision chain. Initially the staff were very helpful and I did get a great deal with them. More due to the fact that I had shopped around before going to see them!! I wanted to spend my money locally and have regretted the decision. Two years down the track and I have still not forgotten the poor service I received. When the DVD player I ordered was not available, I was talked into an inferior brand that did not have the functions that I asked for Then when I tried to return the item - it was not a multi zone player as I requested - I had to FIGHT for my money back. I was told I was ignorant. Really poor service. Not even worthy of 1 star!
Great hairdresser. Rick is a fantastic hairdresser who listens carefully to what his clients require. Unlike many hairdressers, he is very honest about whether the style you have selected is suitable for your hair/needs. This hairdresser was recommended to me and I would HIGHLY recommend Rick to anyone!
A great cafe hidden at the end of the shopping strip in Heathmont. Friendly staff, great food and a fantastic atmosphere. Best to make a booking for brunch on Sundays as it is a popular local cage. They offer a wide range of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner is only Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Great massages, discount days for various services including waxes, facials, nails and more. If you join their mailing list you will be sent a list of the day that offer these specials. They also have an infrared sauna (fantastic!) and a range of different massages are available.
