This place does not make the BEST ice-cream in the WORLD. Ice cream is put on a cold slab of marble (i.e. cold rock) and then you can decide what you want to have mashed into it.
You can choose as many types of ice-cream for the one price, it is the mix-ins that bump up the price. You can choose all manner of choccy stuff to include or fresh berries, cookie dough and more.

Very friendly staff who are professional in their dealings with sensitive areas. Although a little pricier than some places that do waxing, it is worth paying the few dollars extra to get professional service.

The BEST pizza I have ever had. Quick and friendly service! The pizza bases are light and not doughy. Toppings are generous and fresh!

Going to the dentist is never fun, however the gentle and professional manner in which you are treated makes your visit much easier. Unlike many other health care professionals, there are not long waiting times to get in to see the dentists.
An excellent boutique travel agent located near Maling Road in Canterbury. The staff are friendly,knowledgable and provide excellent service!! They also make a great cup of coffee!!

A fantastic hairdresser in Dianne. She has been in the business for over 20 years and her standard has not dropped at all. The one negative is her prices. This hairdresser is a little pricey, however the quality is fantastic. As well as hair, Dianne offers nail and waxing services and a solarium.
The weirdly named Sha Tin (think about it) Chinese restaurant is located on Canterbury Road near the Post Office. The food is very reasonably priced. I do think that they use MSG, so perhaps ask for that to be omitted when ordering. Great spring rolls!
Having passed it on Maroondah HWY many times, I was pleasantly surprised with the food at the restaurant. I have only tried their pasta, however they have a wide range of a la carte items as well as the traditional pasta and pizza. A great range of desserts and a good range of wines. An entree serve of pasta is sufficient for even hungry people like me. Great garlic bread!!!
Friendly service and, more importantly, HONEST service. It is often difficult to find a good mechanic/car servicer. These guys were great. Friendly, honest and prices were very reasonable. When calling around to find different prices, they were the cheapest by far!
With so many Chinese restaurants in Little Bourke Street it can be really hard to select one. Ants Bistro (Red Ants) is located in Corrs Place off Little Bourke. It is easily seen from the road. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the Hot and Sour Soup. Easily the best I have ever had. They have a fantastic selection of food and all at very reasonable prices!
