Stunning. I was completely stunned. I had a chef's special of roast pork belly atop rice noodles with oyster sauce, sambal and kimchi. The vision and execution was faultless. I could not get this quality in Camberwell, let alone for $18! Best restaurant meal I have had in maybe 5 years. Incredible.

Driver got delivery truck stuck in driveway. It took almost 2 hours to get out. I spent an hour helping him dig. The truck took paint off the fence on its way out. Gravel and mulch all mixed up. Driver said we would get refund. Business owner later reneged on offer.

We purchased items for a new bathroom (toilet, bath, shower screen, towel rails, shower head, hand basin etc etc). The shop is small but what is on display is top quality modern stuff. What we weren't able to find on the shop floor Rod found in brochures. Rod is v.experienced and was able to resolve some issues for us that we had had less success resolving with our builder.

New carpet downstairs in 2003, new carpet upstairs 2008. On both occasions we got an expert job. Staff are experienced and gave us sound advice. The carpet laying tradesfolk were pleasant and skilled.

Been using Sampan for 5 years. Haven't noticed any quality drop as noted by an earlier poster. It is no Flower Drum, but very reliable, good value Chinese for a Tuesday night. They always deliver very promptly.

Purchased vanity handles. Colour not as expected. Seemed to be an issue of quality control at EH's supplier's end. Didn't stop EH trying to blame me (more than once) for ordering the wrong thing.

Is this industry full of useless people, or was I just unlucky? I tried 3 other places before Coldflow and I just couldn't get people to show up for on sites quotes, or call me back etc. And this was for an $8000 system! With Coldflow I had none of that. Their sales people seem to be ex-installers, low on sales schmaltz, but with significant knowledge and experience. The installation was seemless and Coldflow worked in well with our builders.

Very quick and the quality is reliable. Premises are nothing to write home about, but for takeaway, or a quick bite sitting on a stool by the window, this place can't be beaten for value on Burke Rd.

I strongly suspected I had termites. I rang some obvious players, Rentokil etc etc All wanted $400+ to even come and look. None of them listened when I said that our 2nd storey extension had been finished last week and didn't need to be included in the inspection. Finally sw Dennis of Enviro Aware on recommendation of a friend. He came out that day and inspected the 5 or 6 areas I was sus on. Gave me some good advice. Turns out I didn't have termites. Dennis spent half an hour or so with me but didn't want any money. Top bloke, friendly, knowledgeable. I can't wait till I actually have some pests so I can use him again.
