I love Danny's! a real LaPerouse treasure, this restaurant has been going strong for many years and has always been consistently good. The chef is fine with changing or modifying orders and the staff is always friendly and polite. I love the atmosphere of Danny's, it makes me feel comfortable. The food is really good - the chips are so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good salads, and I like the grilled fish dressing.
For some reason the sliced meat and some vegetables are not fresh at this store, ever. The bread is usually on the stale side of things. The service is always prompt and really helpful, and it's great value for money. I love other Subway stores but I have no idea why this one is a bit lacking in their sandwich fillings. It'd be great if they were a little more fresh.
I only really go into Target to buy clothes and underwear, as I find the other big box stores have a better range in other areas, and Target Eastgardens lacks what two other similar stores in that same mall have - a gardening section, and a motoring/outdoors home section.
I think the staff must all be on the floor because there's only ever two people on check-outs, and the queues are very long. It'd really improve the quality of the store if more people worked at the check-outs and the staff were a bit more knowledgeable in their area.
Big W has some amazing value products and most staff are very helpful and will let you know if they're not sure about a certain product. It's this honesty that I really like with going there. They have some great bargains and specials, and the check-outs are usually well-staffed and there aren't long queues. There's also a self check-out which is a lot of fun to use and makes the shopping experience that much better.
This shop has a range of products from hair accessories to earrings, bracelets and rings. All the usual fake jewelery, in a range of different styles and colours to suit different ages, occasions and budgets. I really like going there as they always something new and the staff is really friendly and helpful in letting you know if something suits you or not.
A bit on the expensive side and some of the produce isn't always top quality or fresh. For the most part they have some fantastic deals outside and the adjoining juice/salad/yoghurt bar has some very good quality food. The service is about the same as any other fruit shop but they unlike some other local fruit shops they don't help you carry bulky items to your car (but will help you load the trolley).
One of my favourite branches of Gloria Jeans. The staff are always helpful and polite, and are happy to answer any questions I have about different menu items. They put on a lot of whipped cream for iced coffee orders, always a treat!
This is very conveniently placed for me. I get my annual log-book check done with them. Quick, easy, and reliable. They do good work, tell you if they find any problems in your car that needs to be fixed, and everything they've done is detailed for you. Always happy to answer questions.
I've only been there once when they first opened to buy some herbs. I'm not sure if it's maybe because they were just recently opened, but the staff seemed ill-prepared for basic questions like where I could find chives and a tomato plant. Their prices were quite expensive compared to other nurseries, and the plants all seemed a little dull, in need of a good sprinkle of water!
I've been going to Des Renford for years! I love it, they have a good choice of pools, a great kiddie pool, good bathroom and shower facilities. The staff are helpful and involved, and there are some good programs anyone from a casual swimmer to a professional can join.
